My car broke down on the way home from Eastbourne.
We parked up in the car park whilst waiting for the RAC to arrive.
The lady behind the bar was so friendly and helpful.
After we had a drink she recommended some places to go for a walk locally and offered to charge our phones.
Despite being fully booked for dinner she spoke to the chef who agreed to make us some dinner if we were still waiting.
We were originally told the recovery would be with us between 3 - 5 hours, but thankfully came in an hour, so we managed to get back home in time for dinner.
We will of course visit soon, and book a table for food!

Absolutely delicious supper! Ham hock terrine followed by sea bream all extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. Delicious wine too and lovely ambience.

What an amazing place! We called last minute on a Sunday and they made sure to have room to accommodate my Wife and I and parent in laws and thier dog. We had a roast and it was out of this world. It was perfect for a cosy Sunday. The staff are absolutely lovely. Really great place. Highly recommend

I've dropped in at lunch time for a beer or two a couple of times and there is always a descent ale available, and weel kept. Last weekend however I visited the restaurant and the food was superb. I don't know who the chef is but they really know their art. Visit soon, as I fear the chef will be poached ( :) ) soon and be off to a swanky london eatery.
