Never been here before so I thought I'd try it. Had a croque madam with chips. The cheese on the top of the madam was very thick and the texture felt like rubber. The ham inside was nice but fatty. The only good thing about the meal was the chips.

Ordered a steak. They don?t specify sizes on their menu and I can see why. When it arrived it was about 5mm thick, and although I asked for medium, it arrived rare. I guess the chef found cooking something so thin on a fire a bit if a challenge. All I could taste was the charring as there was very little meat in between. I paid £34 for this. I know prices have risen, but this was an absolute disgrace. A complete rip off. I eat a lot of steak, and for the same price in any other restaurant, I could purchase a steak 3 x the weight of theirs.

Popped in simply for a coffee and to sit outside in the old solly. Lady who served me was very chatty and freindly. Made us feel very welcomed.

Booked for Friday evening. Nice decor, calm with attentive service. Scallops delicious and monkfish v good. Poached pear dessert good. Nice choice for dinner with friends.

Family Sunday lunch. The restaurant had technical problems and rang me to advise they could only take cash on the day.
All four of us had the roast sirloin, a lovely hefty slab with lots of lovely vegetables, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. A delicious tarte tatin to follow. A really lovely restaurant, with friendly staff.

Absolutely fab. From start to finish the service was brilliant, timings on food were spot on and never felt rushed despite being a Friday night and the food itself was something else. I love eating at Rendezvous - authentic French bistro food from chef Owner Mourdi and his experienced kitchen brigade. Lovely friendly service and a good wine list - everything sensibly priced. Venue capable of seating up to 75 people

Nice breakfast. Good service. Very good coffee. Friend said she really liked her croque monsieur. But the boudin noir listed on french breakfast was normal commercially available british black pudding and not real the genuine item. Paper napkins and table cloths also let the experience down in what trying to an upmarket brasserie.
