My husband come into the jewellers with someone that was selling him a Rolex watch to have it authenticated before he purchased it. It was then authenticated by who we believe to be the owner an paid a fee to do so. He was told it was 100% genuine an he should go ahead with the purchase. A week later i took it to Rolex head office to be serviced to then be told it was fake. And not a good fake either. My husband is now 9k down an it has been reported to the police.I would warn anyone that is thinking about purchasing anything from this shop to be very cautious, as we can only assume that if they cant spot an obvious fake what else could they have got wrong and are now selling to the public.

Lovely jewellers. Great price and found the perfect replacement for a lost Opal in my engagement ring and always great service when we have needed resizing and fixing pieces of jewellery.

Highly recommend. I absolutely love this Jewellers, so helpful and never pushy. In fact I?ve always been told to have a think before purchasing.I took my mother in laws ring there to get made smaller and it came back looking like new! I have also purchased my engagement ring and our wedding rings in this lovely shop.

Please steer clear. These people will rip you off. Cleaned my jewellery which then broke. Sold them jewellery but one piece I shouldn?t have, tried to purchase back but they wanted double and some.. what I sold it for.

15 years ago (when I was 17) I walked into this lovely local Jewellers and the owner (Andrew) had a friendly negotiation with me and I sold him a gold pocket watch. Today (15 years on) I walked into the same store to find Andrew and his lovely daughter Olivia who were so helpful with valuing and verifying my luxury AP watch. They've supplied me with a same day valuation for my insurance company and are as friendly, polite and efficient as always - the value for money in the shop is also second to none. I can't recommend them enough.

Excellent service, we have purchased our wedding rings and engagement rings before from andrew smith and always had good service but today was amazing.My tag watch needed a clasp replaced which unfortunately they could not supply. I managed to find one online and they fitted it within 20 minutes at an amazing price.

Very poor experience, if I could give 0 I would but I won't mention the reason for that. I got my rings valued at twice the amount elsewhere. They clearly can't value or are trying to pull customers pants down. I'd save your time and go to Dominic Walmsley Jewellery.
