I am very happy to recommend the Pavilion on the Drill Field and the excellent team who were so helpful, friendly and professional : Mandee and Ted in the booking, advice and organisation, Martin and the bar team, and Bryan and his team in delivering a very high quality of catering. My parents had a wonderful 50th Golden Wedding anniversary, on a sunny Sunday in July 2017 at the venue, with around 50 guests visiting from around the country. We decorated the Pavilion, and enjoyed using the audio visual facilities to share memories and music. It is light, airy and roomy but not so large that it might lose the intimacy of the occasion, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The facilities including amble private parking, wheelchair access, and somewhere for those with dogs to sit in the terrace ensuring everyone was welcome. Also very good value!
