I have my regular glasses prescriptions here and the staff are always kind and helpful. I had an eye infection and everyone could not have been more efficient and supportive despite it being a busy day. Superb service!

Great opticians but after the perfect lens specification has been provided you are passed onto sales staff who just tell you to choose any frame you like. No guidance.I picked a frame I liked but they constantly slip down my nose. Went back and had them adjusted but still don?t stay in place.I think the technical staff are great but after that you?re on your own.I?ve put up with my slipping glasses for a year but I?ll be going back to my local optician next time.

My wife & I both purchased 2 pairs of glasses each from Specsavers Tunbridge Wells just over a year ago. We both paid extra to have the lenses protected coated/treated.I recently noticed that on one of my pair of glasses, one of the lenses has started to show imperfections to the protected coating, almost like in a small area it has started to flake off. My wife popped into the store today (20.07.23) to seek help/guidance. Unfortunately the representative for Specsavers put this down to user neglect and was not very helpful, and certainly would not accept the possibility that the coating may have been faulty. After all, out of all 4 pairs of our glasses, it has only happened to one lens on one pair. My wife pointed out that it is only one lens that is effected, if it was user neglect surely both lenses would be effected. All Specsavers offered was for us to pay more money for having the coating repaired.Considering how much we paid initially, we feel this is very poor customer services/support.Specsavers - Tunbridge Wells, you have sadly lost two customers.

Been there with my wife to have our eye test done.Thought it'll be better compare to Maidstone but it's not. One of the staff members told me I had to put the e-voucher I received from my company through the company?? That didn't make sense until I asked a different staff and she said she knows about the e-voucher and can do it there. My wife had to do a new test which I did also did which is part of the standard procedure, she had to be retested because the optometrist thought it was inconclusive or was done incorrectly, so the staff who tested her had to retest her with the optometrist supervision.They talk too quickly and don't give enough time for us to reply or make our decision of frame choices, all they care is about sales.**Had to call the Tunbridge Wells branch because the staff member who dealt with me on 24th July, told me my glasses will be ready to collect from Maidstone branch on 1st July and will receive a call or text but didn't. Contacted Maidstone, they had no notes whatsoever about my glasses, contact Tunbridge Wells and they said the glasses were only just sent on 1st July to Maidstone branch by post, staff members there can be quite misleading**.
