Last day of the half term treat (for mama as much as anyone else!) lunch out. The food was delicious, we were a bit early for our res, and were seated immediately and we're the only folk in the place for a while. I asked about the kids deal, and was told to download the app and pay through that. Which I did. When I spoke to another member of staff I was told that was not necessary? I'd rather not have countless apps and businesses with all my deets, when it's not by my choice. It felt a bit cheeky, like I was tricked into the app and I was a bit upset that I'd spent time and effort doing it all for nowt! The food came quickly, it was delicious, the service was not friendly and I'd probably not rush back to that restaurant in a hurry.
Edit Feb 25 - another school holiday/kids eat free sesh and this time the experience was far far superior. The staff member who was hurried/rude/unhelpful last time was not there today. All the staff we had wait on us today were really helpful and kind. We were a table of seven and again the food was timely, our orders taken quickly and everything was absolutely delicious. We've been to a few Pizza Express restaurants and this ones quality of food actually is really good. Everyone ate every scrap of pizza :) thanks for the visit today, will be back again this time ;)

Good amazing. Attention to detail, especially as I?m gluten free.

It?s often daunting visiting a restaurant with a five year old and two year old. However, we had a wonderful experience at Pizza Express on the weekend.
It?s very rare I ask the name of a staff member and then write a review to mention them, but this was an unusually great visit. We were served by Barbara, who went out of her way to make the kids comfortable. She was kind and very attentive, in a natural, authentic and unforced way.
Pizza Express is always a good destination for a family meal, but it was extra special, this time. Thank you!

7 of us came to celebrate a birthday. Main reason for choosing here was it being child friendly with an excellent kids menu plus pizza a favourite for us all! Added bonus was that they were doing an offer on pizzas (always worth googling to see if they have offers)
Lovely friendly staff. Food was lovely and eveeyone was happy - including a vegan, a veggie and a fussy 4 year old!
Parking: As it is on the High street you may be lucky to find a space! It is limited to 2 hours though. There is a car park by the train station and at the great Hall. Both 5 mins walk if that.
Kid-friendliness: Great value kids menu.
Wheelchair accessibility: To be honest none of our party were in a chair but I would say whilst not the easiest (tables are close together) it would not be impossible.

The food was good, the waitress was so lovley! Down to earth and had a laugh with us, and I think her name was Vanessa. I suggest that next time the manager wants to criticise the way she was working, don't do it in front of customers! So unprofessional

Food is decent, but we had to wait 55 mins for 2 pizzas and pasta. It was by no means a full restaurant. Very disappointing.

Came at a quiet time- food was prompt and hot! Sever Hannah was so nice! speedy, friendly and efficient with a big smile! Defo recommend to anyone.. coming back!

Very very disappointed.
Once again deliveroo more important that customers.
Waited over 45 mins for main course with no apology what so ever.
Waiter could have said at start about waits although he gave the impression we were an inconvenience.
Tunbridge Wells have better eateries

It was a great catch up meal with friends. Was pleasantly surprised that the noise volume was much better than I'd expected within the place and therefore it was easy to hear each other whilst we chatted even with a large party nearby. Was warm but not hot environment. Toilet facilities were clearly marked and easy to access and very clean.
Food was good however honey dough balls were slightly spice than anticipated and it wasn't until finished the starter that realised the honey was in the side dish and not actually over the balls when served ?. All friends had the new salad in middle of pizza ..novelty idea but looked nice and I had pollo pesto which was lovely and had to finish with tirimasu ?. Another nice idea that they now do is the mini dessert with coffee or tea on the side..brilliant idea ?.
Great evening and thank you Pizza Express for the excellent table service.
Parking: Wherever you park it will not be close to the restaurant a d yiu will need to be prepared to walk to the restaurant.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not easily accessible for a wheelchair

Dropped into Pizza Express for lunch and although the restaurant was quiet we enjoyed the experience, the service was great and both the mains were well prepared.
