Slow service in restaurant although 2 areas to order. Had banana pancakes cold by the time they arrived. Very small portions. Clean tables and restaurant.

As with most garden centres, the restaurant is always expensive at £3.95 for a bit of cake and mine was dry to be honest. The hot chocolate was warm too. Husband said his was decidedly average for his cake and tea. Only popped in as we had a long journey back after appointment at hospital, will go elsewhere next time.

Last week had to use garden centre car park when hospital was full for my baby's emergency appointment. Then was locked in and stranded far from home. Please don't lock the car park, I couldn't help using the car park and put me in vulnerable position

When I went to to the garden centre they were super helpful and chatty, discussed all the plants I have at home and how I care for them. I then decided to get a lively small fern for my bathroom as there are no plants in there and the humidity would be nice for the plant. The next day when I was brushing my teeth I noticed small black flies on my mirror and window, insects I had never seen in my greenhouse or home. I called today to let them know and I was met with pure entitlement saying it?s my fault. However I have not bought a single plant since shortly after summer in 2023. I also keep sticky pads behind other house plants to help catch any wondering flies or other insects incase they make their way in (have some this for years). They said they will give me some spray but that doesn?t help all the eggs that have been laid as there are dozens of new black fly daily and I can?t keep spraying every time pant that has now been infected as I have pets in the home. The women was rude to me and failed to take any responsibility, shocking customer service. You get more help from plant sales team up the road at Tesco.I got a call back from sassy Sam who also hung up on me when I asked for their name so I could continue the conversation in person. How does somewhere like this have such entitled staff who are sarcastic and have such bad attitudes. Shocking.

Great range of garden and house plants, ornaments, sheds, patio furniture, kids stuff, books, toys, etc., an in-house butchers, and a great restaurant. Some items can be expensive though, so watch the prices.

Cafe was quite nice. Good sized pots of tea and gluten free carrot cake was nicely spiced and not dry. However, I don't think it is homemade as there is not much carrot in it and it is very sweet. Lots of other gluten free options such as bakewell tarts and chocolate brownies but these are individually wrapped in plastic since they are bought from a outside brand / company, which seemed a shame. The cafe itself is big and busy so it doesn't have much character and the atmosphere is a bit like a school dining hall. But the hot lunches look good and they allow dogs.

Stone cold, under cooked eggs , very strange taste to the bacon, sent back both cold breakfasts and still mediocre . Very poor all round, won?t return

I was in the area visiting family for Christmas so while my husband finished working, I decided to walk our 5 year old cockapoo (Chester) to Notcutts garden centre for a general mooch and possibly breakfast. I originally read online that dogs were only permitted in the outdoor section of the restaurant and so in late December I thought a takeaway would be better. I was very impressed and surprised when the manager advised a new section had been created in the restaurant that was dog friendly. This meant I could enjoy my breakfast in the restaurant which was fabulous. As a proud dog mum, of a well behaved dog, I welcome being able to take him with me rather than leave in the car or at home so the space was brilliant- clearly marked so those who might not want to be near dogs can choose to sit elsewhere. Food was delicious too! I will definitely return!

There are two problems with this garden centre. 1. The staff are miserable 2. The queue to order food is disgraceful, huge queue, Put more staff on at lunchtimes....I am always amazed when companies do not staff money coming in....I would have thought that is what keeps them open

Fabulous 3 course festive dinner for £21, catered for gluten free, very attentive staff. Food was lush and great value, definitely go again.

My partner and I visit at least once a month as their food and service is always great. I love the sausage and caramelised onion ciabatta and my partner has the egg mayo sandwich. Their chips are also probably the best in the Tunbridge Wells area.
