I?m writing to express my disappointment following a recent visit to your Tunbridge Wells store. I came in with a straightforward request?to locate a valve for an inflatable Berghaus tent, which I understand your stores stock.
Instead of receiving help or any proactive customer service, I was told abruptly that the store did not have the part and that I should ?look online.? When I politely asked whether the staff member could check stock at other branches or arrange a transfer, the request was met with visible disinterest and an unhelpful attitude. I was simply asking for the kind of in-person support I expect from a high street store?particularly after a week of being online for work, I prefer to shop in person at weekends.
As a white heterosexual male, I also couldn?t help but feel that I was not particularly welcome in the store. While I believe in and respect inclusion for all, the interaction left me feeling judged or disregarded based on who I am. Whether intentional or not, no customer should walk away feeling that way.
It?s disheartening when a brand I?ve trusted offers such a poor in-store experience?especially when the issue could have been easily resolved with a little initiative and courtesy.
Unless there is a meaningful improvement in staff training and customer service, I will not be returning to Millets, and I would hesitate to recommend your stores to others.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to improve the experience for all your customers, regardless of background.

I don't leave reviews too often, but the staff in Millets were incredible helpful and friendly. I didn't catch their names but every staff member I have interacted with made my experience much easier and smoother! Thank you :)

Very nice staff. There wasn't much of a selection in this store, so if you have special requests, it's better to order online if possible.

On the 13th of April we went to the Tunbridge Wells Millets Shop. My son went to change a coat he bought from there. We've been served by Erik, who's been polite, helpful and really patient. We've ended up buying more products (shoes, insoles, mudguards). I just wanted to say big Thank you to Erik.

Helpful staff, and in my opinion, a inadequately stocked store. It is conveniently located in Central Tunbridge Wells, however, it served the purpose of buying a pair of trousers from a brand I did not know particularly well. There were not a lot of known brands in store. The availability and variety of hiking boots was somehow disappointing, therefore I had to go visit Blacks down the road (same road btw).Will I visit again. Maybe not. A better idea would be to go to Blacks.With that being said, the service from the staff I received was great. The boy and girl at the till were very helpful and courteous. It?s a pity they don?t offer as much variety of goods as other stores.

Fitting Rooms not in a good condition. 1st full of boxes and rubbish so not use able. 2nd, plastic rubbish on the floors, and no hooks or hangers to hang clothes. Only a cheap plastic chair.3 young gentleman working, all behind the till having a laugh, did not offer me any help or guidance.
