I understand if a shop is understaffed, but a poor offering of products which I was shopping for-nothing on the shelves. When I asked not one, but several members of staff, if they could have a look if they had any of the products in storage I was laughed at and dismissed. Finally found a manager, proved a complete waste of time. I have been a long standing shopper at the Tunbridge Wells branch of M&S, but these last several years has seen a severe decline in friendliness from both staff and management. A shame, they have now lost my custom!

My Jacket got Ripped in Marks and Spencer Tunbridge wells on a Display Shelf this is the letter i got from them Lol a Joke
Dear Mr Bonfield
Thank you for your patience while I have been looking into the incident where you caught your coat in store and it ripped. I am so very sorry that your recent visit to our Tunbridge Wells store ended unpleasantly. I understand this must have been upsetting for you.
I understand from our conversation that you have spoken with our Store Manager and our Fire, Health and Safety Officer and I am really sorry you are unhappy with how they handled the situation.
Before introducing any equipment, such as these shelving units we conduct a risk assessment on it to make sure it is safe for everyday use, it is clearly visible and there is space to move around it. Once on the shop floor, we then make sure it is checked regularly.
Our Fire, Health and Safety Officer has been carefully examined the shelfs and while I take on board your points he has confirmed that no faults were found, it is in a safe place in the store and it is clearly visible to customers.
I understand the points you have raised but because of the information above we do not believe we are responsible for the accident with your coat. We are very sorry your visit to our ended so unpleasantly, however we are unable to contribute towards the cost of your coat.
Many thanks for bringing this to our attention and please accept our warmest wishes.
Kind regards
Sharon Carvell
Executive Team
Your M&S Customer Service

I know these are different and difficult times but I went to collect an order from the usual collection desk but was told to join the general queue which was literally half way down the store with only 2 cashiers on who had to go for click and collect orders for customers. As I got to nearly the front I was told to go to the collection desk whether I had bought items in the shop or collecting! Crazy and I understand staff are being made redundant at this store. There was a "supervisor" flitting about who would have been better served manning a till!! Not usual M&S service?

For the size of it, it's got lots of good food as well as lots of clothing. Ground floor is men's and food. First floor is women's etc. Plant based food is now stocked too which is a winner!

Its like any M&S shop I like it. Great for singles lots to choose from. Try the New York cheese cake but be careful, I could eat a whole cake. :)

I've always been very fond of Marks and Spencer's. This branch is ideal. The staff are ever so friendly and approachable and very helpful. The food hall is fantastic. The clothes aren't as stylish as before but there is a good selection and I noticed that they keep changing and updating them. I wouldn't say the tea shop coffee shop is one of the best but it's ok

Reasonably cheap, with a large variety of options. Prices are occasionally eclectic however. We paid £18 for a three pack of underwear, and then found an incredible deal where we got 3 high quality, cotton shirts for only £15. A pair of underwear was more expensive then a full shirt? Seems a little odd to me.

Super helpful staff in the school uniform department today. Thank you for locating the last pack of skin kind shirts in my son's size.

Not enough staff so long queues to get out plus misleading signage. Cooked chickens not available until after 11, but it doesn't say this on all the advertising boards.
