29 June 2023--Really poor customer service; two staff in all, and both were seemingly busy with two families but did not have the courtesy to even say that they would attend me after them.\\nThe man who seemed to be the manager on duty was awful when I asked if he had 2 minutes; he point blank refused, saying he was busy with some other customer.\\nUtterly useless!!!\\nWe were in there for 45 minutes and then walked out.\\nI definitely don't recommend it, and don't waste your time.\\nI ended up buying an electric recliner from the next door, which I would have 100% bought from DFS, but for this appalling treatment from useless store sale personnel...\\nGo to the other furniture stores locally, where you'll get the feeling that they want you in their store.

Sell you a sofa at one price, then try and charge you £1200 more for the same sofa as they made a mistake !!! AND then dont respond to emails or phone calls! Shambles and terrible experience when you?re spending what is not a small amount of hard earned money!

Sold us a sofa and tried to charge us even more for the same sofa as they had 'made a mistake' . No real resolution provided , palmed off for weeks with no responses or callbacks . Appalling service !!! Would not recommend.

Decent place to go for a sofa and chairs. Furniture is on a reasonable quality and they do various credit schemes.

We saw a sofa sofa we liked, it happened to be in the clearance section but was perfect for what we wanted?.we told the sales staff that we wanted to purchase it there and then, he then went on to say that we might want to check access to our property first to make sure we could get it in he didn?t seem interested in selling the sofa. However it seemed like a sensible suggestion, so we said we would go home and measure up to ensure we could actually get it through the door. We told him that if all was well, we would call the store and place the order over the phone, paying in full. To that he just said ?ok?. Upon phoning, it?s seem you can only get through to head office, they then have to send an email to the store and ask them to call you. I called the head office 3 times, they sent 3 emails, we never got a call back. The customer service was shocking, it was like our money wasn?t good enough for them, maybe just because it was is the clearance section and they wouldn?t earn enough commission!! Definitely won?t be getting our new sofa from them.

Awful customer service, they constantly lie especially the manager. We have ordered a new sofa and have now been waiting 5 weeks for it. They should have delivered it on Monday 18th but on 15th Friday evening they said that the sofa cannot be delivered. We asked when could it be delivered and they kept saying they don?t know, we did not want to wait any longer so we wanted to cancel but they didn?t give us that chance. They constantly called over the phone and gave us false information about the delivered because they didn?t want to email us because if we wanted to take this to the next level this would be proof that they are lying.

Had a great experience today with Liam, the friendly associate who helped my girlfriend and I today. He was able to guide us towards our new sofa without being pushy, and took into account our needs and budget. It?s normally a little bit daunting walking into a sofa shop as many sales associates tend to upsell, but Liam made the whole experience so easy and stress free. Whilst I haven?t had the couch delivered yet, sofa so good!

We are buying a new sofa and chair . The salesman Jim was fantastic .Did not rush he took his time. We tryed about four different styles .I would recommend them if buying new new .Just got to wait for delivery which takes time

Very poor quality Sofa. Also very poor customer services. Pictures attached as reference. This damaged had happened during the first lock down so not after long I bought these 2 x sets of expensive sofas. It is not wear and tear or accidental damage as the damage has happened in my both sets of sofas in various places. They have gone very soft as well which gives us back pain if we sit on it for more than 10 minutes. I had to wait so long to get quotation for the repair. After chasing few times finally got my quotation and the cost for the repair was so much high that you could buy another set of brand new sofa. I would never ever buy anything from DFS anymore. Very disappointed with the quality of Sofa, repair cost and services.

We visited this store a few times before we made our final decision. Each time we visited myself and my wife were not pressured and when we did ask for assistance the gentleman was very helpful and even remembered us when we came back to choose our new sofa. Excellent customer service and the staff are a credit to the company.

Waited 10 weeks for delivery which wasn't a problem but when the sofa arrived it was obvious it was poor quality. The cushions didn't fit properly and after only 3 weeks were completely misshapen. I visited the shop to complain and it took 4 weeks for someone to visit , the service guy agreed it wasn't good and said I dont know what to do about it. I'll get someone to call . No Phone Call . Another visit to the store ..and so it went on ... 5 more visits and I eventually them to agree to take the sofa back and give me a refund . Never going to dfs again and would advise anyone else not too!!!
