Terrible experience with them. Took me over a 10 days to organise a delivery online as they NEVER answer the phone. When I did they cancelled it on the day and re-scheduled. When the drivers eventually turned up they refused to take a free sofa worth £800 odd as there was some tiny discolouration in a small patch on an edge of the sofa... this is a sofa destined for a charity shop... given for free... not sure why we bother nowadays

Tried to donate furniture. First they completely messed up the collection, then when they did eventually arrive (several days later), they refused to take 2/3 working, undamaged items because of minor discolouration. Complete waste of time, there are lots of other local charities (Abacus furniture project, YMCA, etc) that are far more deserving of your donations.

I?ve actually had a really great experience, 3 deliveries so far and the delivery people have been lovely, friendly and efficient. Everyone in the store itself is really helpful and friendly, and pricing is actually very fair - incl delivery as you can have multiples delivered at the flat fee. New stuff coming in regularly

What an absolute joke, I will never be donating to this charity ever again, we have just had the rudest driving come to collect some furniture, basically saying it wasn't good enough, so if any of you lovely people want to donate don't waste you time with this lot! There are alot of charity's that are more grateful!!!!?

I'm not surprised at so many complaints. The women have always been helpful in the T.Wells shop, but the delivery firm are a joke. I live a couple hundred yards up the road and it cost me £25 delivery (not free as you say) and they rang to say we're not coming today. I'm elderly and had nothing comfortable to sit on for 4 days. No apology, surly delivery men. Definitely feel ripped off. BHF, Why don't you find a professional, reliable delivery company?

We had similar experiences to others with regards donation collections.Got a message the day before our first scheduled collection saying "that date was just a suggestion, we can actually only come in 4 weeks time".The date finally comes, and a couple of guys turn up, incredibly rude and speak broken English, gave my wife a distinct "where's your husband to discuss this" vibe. They pick through the items only deciding to take a fraction, refusing the bags we'd listed on the collection forms (although when they notice a bag of high end men's clothing they change their mind about just that one, it went in the cab and wasn't on the collections receipt).A (solid wood) dining table had been incorrectly listed as a coffee table, they refuse to take it and then get angry about the absence of a coffee table. Bits they didn't take were literally just tossed aside around the garage and left a mess.Generally left a bad impression, we'll be donating elsewhere in future.

Very upset with our experience, was donating leather two seater and single seater sofa set. My nan had passed and these were hers, 6 years old when the 2 gentleman came to collect I was told it wasn't really worth the effort for them as these weren't new, not even referring to the condition ( there was a slight mark on the single seater no marks on the 2 seater) they didn't think it was worth their effort as they were over 2 years old!!!!! Think they should be more public about their demands for new furniture, so people can reach out to more needing charities who will happily acceptthings without being rude

Had a very strange experience with one staff member yesterday.A storage unit right by the till had a £10 price ticket on it. The lady processing the purchase requested £85 from me. I responded surprisingly and said it was labelled as £10, she denied this and subtlety removed the price tag, hiding it in her hand.I stated that if it was incorrectly priced that was fine and a genuine mistake, I was not going to insist on paying the labelled price, but she should at least acknowledge that mistake.She refused to even acknowledge this... I then highlighted that she had the price tag in her hand, and it was for £10 which she reluctantly showed. She then proceeded to be very dismissive of me and no acknowledgement of this mistake whatsoever.At no point was I impolite to this lady. I left shop feeling rather upset, not because I was unable to purchase the unit, but by the response and attitude of this one lady, I felt almost that I was being accused of swapping the price tags, right in front of them.I appreciate the work of BHF, and have donated and purchased many times from this store and others, and always had great experiences, but volunteer or not that was the most dismissive and derogatory experience I've had as a customer.As I was leaving the shop I notice she and her colleague smirking, happy with themselves that I had somehow been trying it on.Such a shame as I loved coming in here but now won't be returning to this branch.Keep up the great work BHF, a great cause and many great volunteers. A shame my visit was tarnished by such a rude bigoted individual.

Delivery men were rude, Just walked off. Got delivered a ''Damaged'' Bed, Not even an appology. Dont wast your time with the delivery.
