Incredibly rude staff. Since the young man left this store has gone down hill a lot.

Really poor customer service. Waited for more than 10 minutes at the pharmacy line while the lady was having a chat with her colleague and the other pharmacist kept disappearing without acknowledging me.

Serious Medication Error at Boots Pharmacy ? Extremely Disappointed
I am deeply disappointed with Boots Pharmacy, Tunbridge Wells. On 21 March 2025, I collected Trimethoprim for my 5-year-old daughter?s UTI. After giving her the first bottle for two days, I opened the second one?only to find it looked completely different! The first bottle contained a clear liquid, while the second (correct) one was a whitish suspension?what Trimethoprim should actually look like.
This means my child was given an unidentified liquid for two days! Even worse, the first bottle had no batch number or expiry date. When I returned to the pharmacy for answers, the staff were rude, dismissive, and took no responsibility?the manager simply said, ?I don?t know.?
This is a serious patient safety issue, and I am escalating it to the GPhC and NHS England. I urge Boots to take responsibility and prevent such dangerous mistakes. Double-check your medication?Boots clearly isn?t doing it for you!

Got in there and was totally lost, asked someone for some help and she was very lovely and pointed me in the right direction and gave me recommendations with No7. I was met with a bubble of joy who was very patient and helped me find the products I wanted. She told me some awesome deals and how to qualify for a free product!! The service was absolutely 10/10, it was a swift and smooth transaction with compliments and amazing recommendations and the general atmosphere was just fantastic. That lady should get a raise!! I?ve never had such amazing customer service I just felt so confident and happy with my purchase!! I bought concealer, powder and a recommended eyeliner which was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I got the third product free with £10 off on my purchase! ???? I was just blown away and I?m so happy with this service that I just had to write a review!

Tried to purchase some condoms, but couldn't find the right size.
Will try the Chatham branch, apparently they do a free fitting service.

Two members of the Boots staff at this shop refused to serve me today because I wouldn't use their seif service tills. Therefore I deposited my would-be purchases on a nearby shelf and went over to Savers, where I enjoyed a hassle-free and polite experience. I have been a Boots customer for many years but today is the last time I shall even attempt to shop in the Tunbridge Wells branch.

Utterly useless pharmacy! Who is that ignorant woman that dresses like a superannuated schoolgirl and has a face like a bad ham? And I expect service when I ask a question of store assistants, not condescension! And the security guard could perhaps be better employed actually guarding instead of skulking at the rear stairs on his cellphone! CVS and DuaneReade in New York gave superb service,24 hours!

Staff are rude and have zero customer service skills. A man in the fragrance isle snapped at my 94 year old grandmother for accidently trying to pay at the desk there told her ?this is fragrance go to self checkout?, not everyone in this world wants to use self checkout!
Whoever manages this particular boots needs to look into how their staff carries on.
Disgraceful.

At the risk of sounding like a complete Karen, don?t go here for medication or advice, just go to Hobbs pharmacy down the road. All the staff at the pharmacy counter were very rude and seemed to being deliberately unhelpful, I was nothing but polite but they seemed like they were all in a foul mood and couldn?t be bothered to be there, boo none of us want to go to work, if you?re unhappy don?t take that out on me please. This would be a super long review if I said everything they said/did but to put it simply they were highly unprofessional. I actually found it quite gross people in a healthcare setting would act like that, and after seeing the other reviews here it doesn?t sound like I just caught them on a bad day. ? the rest of boots is fine though.

I usually have a good experience buying here. Today I was going to buy perfume and asked for help in the section. I asked between two perfumes which was sweeter and her answer was: I can?t help you. Then I asked which is the difference and guess her answer: I can?t help you with that. If they can?t help me with basic questions and I need to figure out everything by myself, I don?t see the point of having people in that section. I did end up buying the perfume in another shop where I was correctly assisted.

Terrible service from the assistant working at the medical advice counter with short blonde hair.
Extremely condescending and patronising attitude. Truly shocked at her behaviour. Tried calling the store and customer services but cannot get through to anyone.
I would avoid at all costs and use a local pharmacist.
