The shop is in need of a refresh. Looks untidy, unloved and in a way abandoned if I met call it so. Has a good level of stock however it is appealing for new customers. The company invested money in the car park which is now better organised however I believe a pound or so should be spent inside as well

Look for an alternative supplier. We are a elderly care home business and have been a customer for 15 years and have weekly deliveries. Over the last year the service has declined and we are now actively looking for a new supplier. Recently we have had two very poor events. Firstly our delivery was in the process of being unloaded when the driver was actually told to stop and take back our items until our credit card payment was cleared. We accidentally used the wrong card for payment and even though we have used Booker for 15 years the branch manager told the driver to stop unloading the van as our payment did not go through. So much for knowing your customer. The second event was our delivery was over 8 hours late. Despite repeated phone calls to the branch we were not told when or even if our delivery would come. We even made an official complaint via head office and over 2 weeks later have had no reply or apology whatsoever. Many of the employees are very helpful, but management seems to care nothing about long term customer service, loyalty or working with us to help look after our residents. As mentioned before, I would look for another supplier for wholesale groceries.
