Barclays unfortunately are the only bank I?ve used that would not allow me to change my details since a change of name. Their procedure to do so is very restrictive and limiting for customers for a whole host of reasons - unlike my positive experiences with Nationwide or Santander. Strangely, if you are under 18 this process is much easier which doesn?t make much sense at all considering you gain legal autonomy upon adulthood. Can?t fault the staff, who were very polite, respectful and apologetic (and offered to give constructive feedback through their staff feedback process) - so this is not at all a negative review reflective of them - but being unable to help me did make me feel let down by barclays as a bank and as though any campaigning (especially LGBT related) is complete virtue-signalling not actually reinforced by their policies.A peaceful protest outside the branch happening simultaneously to my visit also raised my awareness further that my moral values do not align with how barclays operate. Strongly considering closing my account with them - but again this is not at all the fault of the staff members at this branch so please do always treat them with respect and dignity. They did try their best.

This branch is waste of space it is occupying! Waited for 60 mins for a simple yes or no question but there isn?t anyone who cares! Total disappointment! Spent 2 times 30 minutes on the phone to ask my question, still nothing! Will be moving my accounts somewhere else!

Waiting for service in this branch is a joke. I only go into Barclays to get change for the shop i work in...change which is ordered first thing in the morning. If I banked there I would certainly change my bank. Yesterday there were 3 people in front of me, after half an hour waiting there were still three people in front of me and a queue nearly to the door, goodness knows how long they had to wait. One member of staff dealing at the counter another just asking people if he could help them, then just telling them to queue up and it shouldn't be long..then just sat twiddling his thumbs, hahaha such a joke.. This is not a one off occasion. , this is everytime I go in...something needs to be done to alter the system...

Barclays is funding climate chaos by ploughing its customers' money into dirty fossil fuels when we need cheap, clean renewables! Barclays needs to back UK energy security with clean power - not fund dangerous fossil fuel expansion. If I could give zero stars I would.

Absolutely useless. Been in twice now and still no counter service. The one staff member today took so long with 1 customer I couldn't use the facilities. Utterly pathetic..going to close my account and start banking somewhere that actually knows what they're doing.

Really poor service here you are always queuing... Over 20 mins so far not one person on a till and not one of the self service tills able to be used.

What a joke- spent 45 minutes trying to pay in some cash and get a receipt! There is not enough staff and most transactions clearly require assistance. Everyone was aggravated, long queues, staff running round like headless chickens.

Utter joke. All I wanted to do was set up a child savings for my daughter. Told can't be done in branch and to use the App for a video call, which the App doesn't allow me to do sending me round in circles. Then when I return in branch and am told I can get an appointment booked I get ignored after waiting and ignored when I have a go at them for serving people that had come in after me.

Went to pay in cash and cheques on a Saturday to a charity account and required counter service as the account doesn't allow for on line banking etc. however the is no cashier service on a Saturday. So its ok for customers to do charitable activities but Barclays can't support us. They also had three members of staff on duty under utilised, with very few customers. A true farce.
