Bought an angle grinder and a battery, discovered that the battery was not lasting any amount of time and was not suitable for the job. Tried to return it to buy a mains powered one the next day and the shop informed me that I could not return it due to being used even though it was within the 30 day guarantee. Had to call customer services who are sending a courier out to collect the item and refund it that way, wasting not only my time but the customer service advisors (who unlike the shop was very friendly and helpful), and is not very environmentally friendly! I will not be shopping in this store again

Long story short, went to Tonbridge Screwfix branch tonight, and the lad behind the desk without being asked kindly helped me lift 400kg of postcrete and 400kg of leveller in the car after a full shift. Top effort.

Always have what I need. Worthwhile downloading the Screwfix app to get the best offers and discounts.Friendly and helpful staff with good knowledge of products available. If not in-store products can be ordered for delivery next day.Altogether a great place to visit for economic purchases. On-line brochure available.
