Great room, spotlessly clean but sadly let down by outside noise with a juggernaut delivering food to the restaurant followed immediately by building contractors racket outside our window at 7:45am. Receptionists knowledge of room facilities poor and unwilling to tackle construction noise so early in the morning. Bizarre woke artwork on the rooms from neuro-diverse 'artists' (not!). Pictures should feature local interests/local history, not paint thrown onto canvas.

We stayed on Friday 23rd May as we had a wedding to attend the next day.
We were awoken at 3am due to the rain, as a section of the guttering was missing and there was a waterfall outside our window.
Both our young girls were woken up and of course being little they wouldn't go back to sleep.
The issue was reported to reception around 6am where they were very apologetic and gave us the number for the reservation department, informing us that Premier Inn guarantee a good night's sleep, so we should be owed compensation.
However after speaking with the reservation department and I have been informed that as it wasn't reported at 3am and because it was an external problem, there is nothing they can do about our lack of sleep on our stay.
Some would argue that 6am is still early to be woken on a Saturday!
Shocking customer service from a company we use on a regular basis.
On the upside, the breakfast was nice however we will not be returning due to the poor customer service.

We have stayed here a few times and the staff are always excellent, rooms have been upgraded and are nice...beds very comfortable but the wifi is terrible...now I am not saying it is a make or break to stay here as we are not that sort of family but when I'm paying in excess of £110 for two nights essentially for a bed I expect us to be able to use the Internet and maybe my son to watch something on his phone...its simply terrible...you can pay £5 for ultimate wifi but why am I paying more money...I shouldn't have to pay more if there is free WiFi available. It should be good enough and included in the price. Very very happy with everything else but I find this poor.

I've been staying for 2 weeks in a row. The staff are amazing! Super clean room and lots of parking space.

In 2024, every room was refurbished and redecorated, so now every room is a premium room. As far as Premier Inn goes, this is a great hotel.
Showers have excellent pressure, the location is good and staff are friendly.
To anyone visiting, I recommend that if you want snacks for the room, get them before you arrive as there are no stores nearby, except for a petrol station, whose prices are high.

This is a comfortable and clean hotel with the facilities you'd expect for the price. The bed was very comfortable and couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room.
But the highlight of our stay was Connie at reception - Connie was so lovely and made us feel we were home away from home. She went above and beyond to make sure we were sorted for restaurant bookings, breakfast, towels, etc. She had great knowledge of the area and greeted us with a smile and a chat whenever we passed through the hotel.
What exceptional customer service - thank you Connie!

Basic Hotel. Terrible service. I booked the room at the last minute & paid the extra for morning breakfast. Check in took forever, as there was no one at the front desk. Once checked in, I was told that there would be no breakfast as the restaurant was out of service, and they would take the charges off in the morning at check out. Our room was on the 1st floor. No elevator, lugging cases up stairs and through various doors. The room smelled like someone had been sick in there and the bathroom floor was extremely dirty. Only one towel was provided even though it was a double room.
At check out, there was no one amnning the front desk, keys had to be left in a mail slot. I still have not been refunded the breakfast.
I would not recommend this hotel.

Was there as a wedding party. Everyone said it was hottest hotel in the world. Air con not working so standing fans in all rooms which didn't do anything. Good points room was clean at up to high standard. Staff friendly. The Beefeater for food and drinks . Probably the slowest service you're going to get.
