Food was all burnt, so myself and my partner couldn?t manage to eat much of the food at all. Ordered a garlic butter dip and staff member walked away and said to the kitchen ?she wants a garlic butter, who has garlic butter with margarita pizza?. Very unprofessional but very unsurprising considering all staff on the shop floor were very young and were all huddled together giggling and gossiping. Felt like I was eating in a secondary school canteen, with the same quality food as well. Tap water was great, no complaints

Unfortunately, we had a really bad experience with this restaurant, and we will avoid completely in the future.
We ordered our food and before we had even finished our starters, our main courses were given to us. Two out of three of the main courses were cold and had clearly been sat for some time. I managed to eat my pasta, despite it being barely warm, but we had to send a pizza back. They brought over a new pizza after a few minutes which was completely burnt. We again had to send it back. Third time lucky, as the third pizza was perfect, but by this time, the other 2 main meals had already been eaten, leaving one person to eat alone. We felt rushed from the minute we ordered our food, as if the staff needed us to order and leave asap. We then sat and waited for half an hour and noone came to offer us a dessert menu or any more drinks. After a while I decided to get up and reluctantly pay. £82 for 3 drinks, a cold pasta, a third time lucky pizza, and one other main course. This was followed by a very weak apology from the manager. Not impressed to say the least.

I booked a table for my family as it?s my sons 18th birthday . I tried to contact the restaurant to ask about tables to get one by the window possibly. I couldn?t get through so we just booked and turned up. I appreciate that they were busy but we were stuck by the kitchen out the back of the building with a dirty table, glasses and cutlery. In fact the cleanliness on a whole was pretty bad including the toilets. In total we spent 3 hours in an area with little atmosphere and not feeling at all part of the main restaurant. Our waiter was great he must have sensed my frustration, others were just overworked and not at all friendly. It?s not a cheap meal really and we have over the years been to pizza express many times as the kids love it. This was by far the worst experience in a pizza express I?ve had and I wish that I had listened to my gut feeling when we initially arrived and left. It?s the first time I?ve never left a gratuity and I would like to apologise to the waiter as it?s not his fault. Won?t be in a hurry to return.

Very overpriced average food. Drinks very expensive too. Service was good though, although stretched at busy times.

Very slow service, the food arrived after we ordered it for 30 mins. Only the waitress took orders, even we asked for more water and dessert for the kids meal, the waiter just asked us to order it from the waitress. Even the quality of the food was fair, but the way they served us really not recommended for the others.

Visited Pizza express Tonbridge as we were in the vicinity not a place we regularly visit very underwhelming experience . Ordered calamari as a starter which was flavourless probably cooked from frozen. Ordered goats cheese and beetroot salad, very small amount of beetroot and masses of green salad, had to ask for cutlery. Normally Pizza Express is ok for an ordinary meal, but this branch and the overall experience was poor

Waitress was really nice and friendly done a brilliant job!
The food was crap?..the only thing chilli about the chilli prawns was the temperature, they was cold and had no flavour, thin based pizza was rank and looked nothing like the pictures advertised, it was like someone put some sauce on a tortilla burnt some cheese and pepperoni on it and wacked it on plate that was too small.
Overpriced rank food, to sum it up, Havet across the road will give you better food which is fresh for the same money!

Great offer (at the moment), of children eating free if someone orders a main meal. Ordered the light pizza with salad in the middle. Great staff. The girl worked out two different offers for me to see which one saved me the most money.
Kid-friendliness: Always kid friendly. Usually have some word games and colouring sheets. And always have a great deal for kids meals.

Cold greating. Restaurant half empty but we were not given a nice seat in the sofas saying it was booked when nonone ever came. We had to sit on those uncomfortable chairs. They forgot to give us the menus. Never came to see if everything is ok once food was served. Place is ok. Location is gorgeous. Food is tasty. But the service is a big nope for me.

This really is a poor excuse for a restaurant, our hot starters were cold but nothing was done to rectify this. It was as if the waitress was sick and tired of people complaining about the food. The pizza came next, it was so thin that we could believe it, the topping was pretty much non existent, the base tasted like a heavily fried pancake. Apparently these are more in keeping with the pizzas of Rome. I suggest you go to Rome and you will most definitely find the pizzas of Rome are nothing like yours. Overall highly disappointing experience, very expensive for poor quality inedible food, it?s time to get some new staff and management in this business, it really is very badly run.

Been going here all my life since a kid. Came in with my father and sister and was told they were fully booked. Used the restroom where I saw the empty restaurant then she told us that there wasn?t enough staff. Very disappointed Sunday lunch ruined.

Calamari was delish! Got a pollo ad astra. Highly recommend. Atmosphere was nice
