Took our 5 month old cockapoo to her first full grooming here today and she looks amazing!!, so pleased with what she had done. The lady was lovely (sorry i have forgotten her name???? ) , very experienced and knowledgeable, luckily for us she has just come back from being off on maternity leave and I'm so glad as Mabel loved every minute of her pampering session . We have already booked her next appointment and a much cheaper price than other places had quoted me .

Why give a locked cabinet key to a manager who gives no reasonable answer on the phone as to why they can?t come and discuss the product in the locked cabinet .

Checked online for stock, drove an hour to the store, saw the product I needed and was told only one member of staff can sell this item and they aren't in today. Wasted fuel and wasted time. Extremely poor service, disorganised and I will endeavour to avoid using jollyes in the future.

I'm compelled to share a recent experience at the Jollyes pet vaccination clinic, which left me quite dissatisfied. On 25th Jan, my 11-week-old puppy had his second vaccination at Jollyes. Unfortunately, the person administering the vaccine didn't introduce himself or provide any information. Post-vaccination, my puppy experienced distressing symptoms, including limpness and signs of oxygen deprivation.Upon returning to the clinic, the staff, especially the individual who administered the vaccine, seemed ill-equipped and lacked basic knowledge. Despite the urgency, the administrator initially claimed she would call a vet, only to later state that only the person who administered the jab could do so. Fortunately, another customer with veterinary experience stepped in, guiding us to an alternative veterinary practice nearby. While my puppy has since recovered, I am disappointed by the lack of care, professionalism, and knowledge displayed by the staff. My main concerns are:**Staff Training:** I'm curious about the training provided to staff at the vaccination clinics and why trained veterinarians are not utilizing standard operating procedures.**Lack of facilities** why was the community clinic held in a grooming salon? Equipment was not on hand to deal with any emergencies of any kindI hope that this feedback prompts a reevaluation of procedures to prevent such incidents in the future and gives a warning to others to use a proper veterinary practise. The well-being of our pets should always be a top priority.

Went to Jollyes Pet store in Tonbridge, Kent today (21.12.2023). Whilst looking to buy cat food I saw the most distressing sight of caged small tropical birds, in tiny cages with barely room enough to fly, in all around 30 birds. On closer inspection one of the dear little birds was obviously very sick, quivering and shaking with its eyes almost closed. I called over one of the shop assistants and pointed out to her that this little bird was very ill and it was obvious dying, I wonder how long it had been in this state and how long it had therefore been suffering? I said to the assistant how appalling it was in this day and age to sell these dear little tropical birds to make money it was disgraceful, she agreed with me and said none of the staff liked the fact these birds were caged and being sold. Joe Wykes is the CEO of Jolleys (I hope you read this JOE!) you should be ashamed, it's an absolute disgrace, we are trying to save our planet and treat it with respect and care and here you are doing the exact opposite, making money out of buying and selling caged tropical birds you clearly don't care do you! People like you are just plain greedy and you have absolutely no respect for the planet! I will be reporting you to the RSPCA, Police and our local MP.To the public PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS STORE you will inadvertently be contributing to the destruction of our beautiful planet. Please also read the reviews covering all the stores (around 70 in the UK) and count up how many animals have had bad treatment by Jollyes you will be shocked! The one star I gave for this review was for the assistant because she had a heart and admitted she hated the fact that these beautiful birds were being sold and that Management didn't listen when this was bought to their attention and didn't care when it came to selling animals off a shop floor!SHAME ON YOU JOE WYKES!

Ask about the hillstream loach in the aquarium, to which I received a blank stare back and asked what are they, how can you look after living animals and not have any knowledge about them, also clean the tanks more often as they looked pretty grim.

Popped in to buy things for our new puppies, which can always feel a bit daunting. I forgot to ask her name, but the employee with blue hair was incredibly helpful - she helped us with every aspect of our shop and advised us on things we didn?t know even having had a dog in the past! Great customer service and range of products.

Went to buy a rabbit from this store, they are priced individually but when I asked to buy one I was told they have to go as a pair. Why are they priced separately?? Very disappointed.I want to buy one as I know if you keep them as a pair they will fight why is they no sign at all in this store to saying they sale rabbit in pair and not separatelyThe assistant couldn?t answer the question and they no one who can tell me they won't fight when older as they will and I make a full complaint about it

Wanted to book my pup in for a nail clipping and initially it was impossible to get through on the phone to book an appointment. But once we did the staff were so apologetic and booked her in for an early appointment before the shop even opened to the public. They were so helpful in even showing us how to properly clip our pups nails. Completely happy with the service.
