Just popped in for a breakfast and coffeee, highly recommend , portion size was great, piping hot , served with a warm greeting and smile .

Obviously had a change of hands recently. £24 for 2 hot drinks- tea was foul! A small breakfast and a lasagne. The breakfast was average at best, toast came out 5 minutes after the main event. I would say it was pretty forgettable but the smell of grease lingered in my hair all day making the whole sorry experience quite memorable!! The lasagne was basically inedible! Couldn?t even get a knife through it. Sent it back and it took around 15 minutes for the replacement to be sent out with the reheated chips from the original order and no side dish of apology, which would have been nice! Won?t be going back and definitely don?t recommend.

£24:for 3 takeaway sandwiches and cokes...we expected something special.
We were the only ones ordering and it took at least 15 minutes.
Tuna mayonnaise was nice but not much of it.
Same could be said of the Tuna mayonnaise with herbs....ps. there weren't any.
Ham and cheese...cheap packaged ham.
All three sandwiches had either defrosted and/or stale bread.
We will not be coming back
Ps. A supermarket sandwich is much better value

A gem of a cafe on Tonbridge High Street! A lovely, family owned place that does great food at a reasonable price! Our ?go to? place for a late breakfast on a Saturday and we just wish we?d stumbled upon it sooner! Highly recommend!

We walked up and down the High Street looking for somewhere good to eat. Greggs no. Starbucks no. Pub grub no. Dim Sum no. Found Jel's cafe and was glad that we did. Cana the waitress welcomed us in, into a clean, cosy cafe. Plenty of options on the menu to choose from. We ordered breakfast and it was perfect. We asked Sulfan for the WiFi code which they gladly gave, and they even helped us enter it into our phone as well. Only went to Tonbridge to get my car serviced, but will make a point of returning if ever I am in the area again. Highly recommended.

After a bad experience in another cafe i took too cooking breakfast at home ?however a friend brought me here and im so pleased the food was unbelievable so nice the cafe is one of the cleanest i see and the staff are so friendly and helpful even had a chat and a laugh with us i will be going back every week without fail very very good

Such a lovely homely cafe. The breakfast was just what we wanted. A classic greasy spoon, with speedy service and a smile. Highly recommend if you?re in the area, great spot for a quick bite with family/friends/children etc.
