We recently sold our house with Firefly & we are so happy with the service we were given. I feel that Firefly stand out from the rest because they wrote such a lovely write up of our home making it feel really personal & their communication was excellent throughout the process & always on the ball! I like that this is an independent company too. Carol and Tina were great throughout our process & looked out for us a lot. The best!

Having searched for over two years, we were delighted to finally begin the process of purchasing our home together. From the outset, Charly was welcoming, engaging and polite, nothing was too much trouble and she followed through on everything discussed. Unfortunately, the professionalism and courtesy of both Carol and Charly are lacking in the branch manager.Our interactions with Tina Gruber were terse and quite unprofessional. Her written communication often lacked a salutation, and on the odd occasion that we spoke in person, her manner was brusque and dismissive. On completion, we visited the branch to collect the keys and unsurprisingly, she did not stand to greet us or attempt to shake our hand, instead just passed a food bag across the desk and said ?there?s a lot of keys in there?. No congratulations or all the best, just an air of arrogance we had sadly come to expect. What should have been an exciting experience was sullied by her conduct.

We were house hunting for almost a year and although we didn?t buy through Firefly in the end, we wanted to say a big thank you for all the support and patience they gave in trying to find our forever home. As a buyer were made to feel as important as the vendors paying their fee.

I have had a viewing with Liz today and still not sure if I will be able to rent the property I have looked at. However this is a review / feedback I am providing for the actual conduct Liz had. Liz is a people person, willing to hear you out and provide guidance. We did the house tour and discovered the house together and all the questions asked have been answered to. Wish all the estate agents will be like her. Whatever happens, my review will not change.

**** FIREFLYS reply is factually incorrect ****Always difficult when you?re leaving a negative review on a business, but in this instance I felt I had no other option.Firefly had previously sold a house for me and baring the odd minor hiccup it went very well. I engaged them to sell another house which sold on the first viewing, easy work if you can get it!! Great news you might think, well it quickly went downhill from there?..The person in charge of my sale informed us that the chain had checked out and was bullet proof. The advised that we?d need to be proactive as all parties wanted to conclude ASAP, music to my ears, or so you?d think?.. it turn out the chain was longer than we were told and not as ?solid? as we were promised.After months of avoidable stress, avoidable expenses and countless hours of chasing it came to light that the chain had collapsed, we weren?t told by Firefly and another buyer was introduced at the bottom, the sole reason for the delays. They had a duty of care to inform us of this, failure to do so cost myself and my wife £1000?s of pounds?..Now Firefly will of course come up with a different story, but I have all emails, records etc to verify wha I?ve said and anyone wanting to know more I?d be happy to discuss.All I?d advise any potential clients is to be very careful! You?d expect a professional estate agent to act as such, well in the instance it wasn?t the case and we were the ones to lose out! We lost a house we were going to buy as a result of the delay, we lost a lot of money and we also respect for Firefly.I?m still trying to resolve, most people would have sued Firefly, but no all I wanted to do is come to an agreeable compromise of the level of commission?. something other professional estate agents and my legal team advise against, saying I shouldn?t pay anything! But not wanting to be unfair I want to find a solution?? Hopefully firefly do too.

It took a while to find a tenant but our property isn't everyone's cup of tea. Liz and her colleagues at Firefly were extremely helpful and kept us informed at every stage along the way.

Having sold and purchased a house through Firefly I have to say how impressed I have been. The valuation by Carol from Firefly was spot on (not inflated to get my business), the sale happened quickly and all aspects were handled efficiently. The purchase also went very smoothly, with lots of help and good advice. Cannot rate Firefly highly enough, amazing service
