If I could give zero stars I would. I went in with a clearly asthmatic daughter. I did not have an inhaler in my new car. The pharmacist was a disgrace shouting 'google it - Google it' whilst they repeatedly asked me for an NHS number for my visibly shaken 6 year old daughter. After five minutes of explaining I could t find it and if they simply entered her DOB and name they would be able to find it for me I shouted 'does anyone have any common sense here' I' had just driven with an asthmatic child to find them. Finally the pharmacist assisted but all too late. I had to smile and be polite in order to get the much needed medication for her. That pharmacist also had the cheek to charge me for her inhaler spacer which again would be a prescription product but at this point I was desperate to make sure my daughter had the correct medicine and given correctly. This was an emergency. They could clearly see that.Made me jump stupid hoops until I had to shout 'common sense alert'. I couldn't wait to get out of there.A complete disgrace.I had an hour long drive home on my own with my daughter and if I hadn't have got cross with them they would have happily seen me drive off without much needed asthma medication.A complete disgrace and I am reporting them to the health authority. No one needs to be told to google a child's NHS number when the pharmacist (in circumstances such as these) can find this information quickly with DOB and name on their own system. The cashier was very polite and got me water as I was also physically shaken from dealing with a child with Asthma in the back of the car on a motorway and then having to deal with an obstructive pharmacist who realised too late that his assistance was actually required. The male pharmacist was a disgrace and made sure he made £9.95 on an inhaler spacer which can also be prescribed for children. It didn't even scan at that price. So I don't even believe he should have charged me but I had to get out of there.Disgraceful pharmacist service. Avoid. Currently reporting to health authority also. Emergency medical care for a child who simply needed an inhaler to prevent / stop an asthma attack. I've never needed this service until now as I am always prepared but recently changed my car. Should be struck off.

The world?s slowest dispensary. When you call it?s either engaged or they answer and leave you on hold until you give up. When you go in though the staff are friendly enough??

I have waited a while before reviewing hoping things would improve but they haven?t. Issues I have; things go wrong but it is how you address these and this is the biggest failing , the attitude is bad and the customer seems to always be wrong, ignorant or dismissed. The phone is the easiest way of confirming your script is ready but the phone is never answered, I called 6 days in a row and never had the phone answered. The staff are not proactive, they needed info from the doctor but it was me chasing to get the info. Very disappointed as the opening hours are very accommodating. I hope it improves but I doubt it as I have never seen them try and respond to any review and make improvements or apologise.

Just switched my designated pharmacy to avoid this place. Fed up of waiting for 30 minutes to pick up a routine prescription and that's just when there is not a huge queue. Avoid where possible.

Well what to say? the customer service is incredibly slow and poor. Since 3 years they keeps on saying that they are short of staff?Today I went in and it took literally 13 minutes before the person at the till actually aknowledged me! After that it took ages again just to prepare a prescription. No apologies for the wait, nothing! The opening hours are good, but the rest is dreadful. Also just to add, the customer?s side of the pharmacy is always really dirty, doesn?t feel inviting for sure!

Had my prescription sent over directly from the GP on a Monday , went in the following Monday to collect (knowing they would need to order it in) and they hadnt even placed the order. Was told "they a bit behind" when I informed them I knew it needed to be ordered in. Have now gone a few days without the medication while waiting for a phone call. I am only needing medication following surgery , I feel very sorry for the people who require medication all the time. To top it off they never answer the phone.

I received excellent service today under the circumstances, I say under the circumstances because things are not as they used to be. This was the second time I visited the pharmacy to collect my medication it wasn't there the day before as staff were overwhelmed with the number of prescriptions. I had a phone call in the morning advising my medication was ready to pick up, I know I wasn't the only one on the long list.Sometimes they have trouble getting my drugs, they move heaven and earth to get them for me. This has not been my experience with other pharmacies. Staff are always polite, caring and helpful. As are all parts of the NHS, they are under extreme pressure and are doing an amazing job of holding everything together. Thank you I am so grateful

My daughter came from France with a prescription for antibiotics that she had forgotten. On Saturday afternoon, first refusal to give them to her because the prescription is foreign.Back on Sunday with the text of the post-Brexit law showing that pharmacists must give medicines to French people.Second refusal: the pharmacist did not understand amoxiciline - 1/jour pendant 6 jours!Thank you for putting kind and smart people in pharmacies! It coule be helpfull.

Appallingly slow. It seems that everytime a prescription is collected it takes mor than 25 mins from speaking to someone to getting the prescription. Wrong drugs have been included previously and i have had owing notes (because they havent had everything) far too frequently. The staff are often completely oblivious to how long its taking like people would think 30 mins is an appropriate time to waitMy wife and i have persevered for 2 years with this but will never go back

Long wait .. even though 4 staff members .. old people have to wait longer as well .. they need to sort out the issues.. they need to HIRE EXPERIENCED STAFF .. waited 45 minutes just to be told that prescription is out of stock ??

I had to move from paddock wood pharmacy because they could not get some of the medicine I have been on for years also there has been 4000 new houses Built in Paddock wood and thousands in branchley and matfield. This I imagine has had a knock on effect to East street yet they Seem to manage. There is a notice in the shop saying if you call first they will have your prescription ready for you. Every time I call they have my prescription ready for me within a couple of minutes of arriving. The longest I have had to wait has been about 15 minutes compared to an hour at other Pharmacies. They are helpful quick and polite even when under pressure. The staff are professional and well trained. Thank you.

The staff are generally great when they are open but a couple of times now I have gone there during their published opening hours (the ones on the door, not the out of date web site) and they have been closed.

Perfectly efficient and decently run local British pharmacy. Always have the items and if you go off peak there?s rarely a long wait
