Usually convenient but things appear to have gone downhill here. Usually pop in for a meal deal with coffee & a pastry but either fridge, coffee maker or bakery has a fault so can?t get what I want. Staff seem more interested in gossiping than serving customers.
Needs a refurb & staff trained in customer service.

I go to this store almost every morning for my lunch on the way to work. All the staff are friendly and the range for this little store is brilliant and their in-store bakery section is a treat. Just had to leave a review.

I love the store - it?s convenient and the staff are helpful and friendly. However one staff member wears a keffir and I feel it?s wrong to make such overt political statements in one?s dress while at work and serving the public at this time of polarisation.

I recently visited Tesco Express in Southborough a number of times and had a mixed experience.
While I appreciate the convenience of having a store nearby, I was disappointed to find that prices were noticeably higher compared to larger Tesco superstores.
It feels a bit unfair that customers in express locations are charged more, especially when you expect consistency in pricing across the brand.
The store itself is well-stocked and the staff are friendly, but the pricing definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.
Overall, it's an average experience ? useful for last-minute shopping, but I hope to see more uniform pricing in the future.

I came in to Tesco on Wednesday 23rd august around 10am.I had a really unpleasant encounter with an older lady on the checkout.I was at the self serving till and I had to be ID?d. I waited for around 3 minutes to be seen by a colleague. There wasn?t a colleague around so I went to find one.Unfortunately, I must have ruined this ladies day by asking for her assistance as she did not respond to me. She went to the checkout and went to see other customers on the checkout and carried on ignoring me.I then went to her on the cashier till as she did not want to help me and I had been waiting for around 6 minutes at this point. I tried to purchase my items, when she asked for ID I realised I had left it in the car. It was for an energy drink and I was happy to show ID. I said I would be back in second and asked if I could just purchase my other items before hand, she gave me an incredibly blunt and rude no. I left the shop without buying anything. I work in customer service, I know some customers can be annoying. But this lady is just flat out rude. She was older with grey hair and it might have had a bit of colour in it.

Never have in stock what we need, self service tills don?t take cash, have wait ages to be served at the counter to pay cash. We are done with Tesco and supermarkets in general will never use again.

It's well equipped and there are quite a few self checkouts so unless you want a cashier you never wait.
