Fantastic customer services from staff, good price fuel, very clean interior and shell Select always has such good produce. Open 24 hours a day, and just off the motorway so easy to get too. Closed at night main shop but has night window.

Every costa coffee I get from this garage tastes like the milk has gone off both the machines need to be cleaned properly it's absolutely disgusting how you charge people for what tastes like sewage water

What is with the night staff here, so rude!!, The worker didn't even ask me if I had a shell plus card.
The worker said he forgot to ask me, well that should be the first thing that I am asked as a customer then shouldn't it?!
The first thing the worker said to me "How much"
Didn't get no, "good evening" or "how are you just", "how much".
This was at 20 past 10 at night, I couldn't even think straight, all I wanted to do was fill up and go home and was tired!.
I didn't even get my points either, apparently it was too late to get them.
I won't be going back to this shell garage anymore.

Appalling service by the night staff. Have asked the worked if he can make coffee and was told the coffee machines are out being cleaned in a very sarcastic manner, he basically asked me if im cant see inside instead of just telling me, had no issues with it being cleaned. Have asked the worked if they have any sandwiches then and was told they have two types only, ?all day breakfast? and ?prawn cocktail?, these were not of my choices so i just asked for a bottle of sprite, while he proceeded to get the drink i had a look through the window and i noticed there have been many more sandwiches to choose from, one of them i could clearly read was ?tuna and sweetcorn? then i told my concerns to the worker he kept repeating he does not have such sandwich. After about four time going back and forward the worker gives in and goes to check, he finds the sandwich i mentioned and brings it over. After all that happened i made a comment to him that his customer service was quite bad and he started cussing at me and calling me names? probably worst staff ive encountered for them to be so annoyed for being asked to do their job and then to swear at you for making a comment.

Rude night staff midnight last night at around midnight knocked on window employee looked and continued in restocking shelf I knocked again he then proceded to walk very slowly to the counter requested 4 cans of Aussie Lemonade monster he then knocked one can on the floor on purpose and walked slowly again to get me a replacement can then said card machine is not working no sign stating it was out of order then told me to get the cash out of cashpoint wasn't happy as I was in a taxi with the meter still running then employee demanded I apologise to him as he said I swore at him which I didn't he then refused to give me back the £10 note I put through the drawer to pay for my drinks until I apologised to him it was only because I started to cause a scene he reluctantly handed me back my money and told me to F Off.Definitely won't be coming back here anytime soon that for sure

Garage is a normal shell, I came here at about 1am as I work in security and needed fuel, my company provide a shell card to purchase the fuel, the guy in the garage says no card payment between 10pm and 5am, so obviously I had to pay cash, was no sign and every other shell Garage I have been to accept the shell cards they just put the card reader through the box. But this guy was a bit rude, saying no cash no fuel, luckily I had £10note on me or I would have broken down. I don't believe this is a policy but if it is I think it needs to be looked at as all the other shell garages let me.
