Had a lovely evening meal with family the food was perfect we was made to feel very welcome nothing was to much trouble got seated straight away we will defenatly be going back i highly recommend the billet the food was lovely

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Billet from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. The highlight of our visit, though, was the exceptional service provided by Megan and Laura.
They were both incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional genuinely going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It?s rare to come across such warmth and efficiency combined in service, and they made my day truly memorable.
The food and drinks were top-notch as well?fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. Whether you?re looking for a cozy spot to unwind or a lively place to enjoy with friends, this place checks all the boxes. I also love the value deals they have here.
Huge thanks to Megan the chef and Laura?you?re a credit to the team. I?ll definitely be back soon!

I'll start off by saying very underwhelming. The wait time was around 1hr and 15 mins for 3 meals (no starters). Not the worst wait in the world but far too long for cheap pub food. When the food came, it was very disappointing. The burger patty was extremely dry and minimal on flavour, the chicken strip in the burger appeared to be the cheapest frozen strips known to man, and the hallouimi fries were average at best. The chips seemed like air fried £1 chips from Iceland. For thr price of the food it wasn't the end of the world...if only the wait wasn't so long. The server was nice though, no complaints there. Unfortunately there wasn't enough redeeming qualities to give this place a 2nd chance.
EDIT: it was mozzarella sticks in the burger not halloumi fries.

recent visit to kent sat nav took us miles out of our way , desperate for food we found pubs that were shut , closed down or did not do food at lunch time , we found the Billet , there was a good menu and plenty of seats , my chicken burger was 2 fillets and wifes meal was more than enough , service was fast, price was fair , not very chatty staff but polite , good pub to use for lunch, only downside as others have said is the car park , we just pulled off road and was told you are in the staff spaces but it does not really say that , so a sign might stop any bad feeling later , we will go off route next time to eat at the Billet.

Food is good the beer is amazing ...very very good prices... lots of TVs to watch a football anytime... nice big garden with tables and chairs could do with some more stuff for the kids to play on...

6 of us turned up about 6pm as it was quieting down over fathers day...We were able to get a table immediately and ordered starters..mains and deserts ..while we were at the bar we ordered our first round of drinks..the staff could not be more friendlier..each course came out on time and well cooked (kudos to the chef ) and best of all was the prices..going to be my go to now :) 5*****

Great atmosphere, even more if you like football or other sports, because they have some 7 TV screens, darts, billiard, etc.

Need to get rid of the parking camera system it's annoying and catches customers out.
