In the unassuming heart of town, where high streets hum and headlights drown,
There lies a flame-kissed, spice-born shrine?
A temple to the taste divine.
Not merely grilled, not merely fed,
But fed with soul, and fire-bred.
Step forth, ye hungry, through the door,
To Nando?s?yes?but something more.
For here resides a sovereign of flame,
A culinary bard who answers to Jay by name.
The sizzle sings, the sauces soar,
The peri-peri dances, roars?
With lemon-herb that lifts the day,
And extra-hot that steals breath away.
Jay is no mere chef, no line-bound cook?
He crafts with vision, taste, and look.
Each chicken fillet, grilled and charred,
Is served like something heaven-starred.
The rice is rich, the slaw is sleek,
The halloumi? Makes strong men weak.
The garlic bread?a golden spell.
I wept. I wept. And wept quite well.
He wields his tongs like poets wield the pen,
A maestro at the grill again.
And through the heat and hiss and smoke,
Jay smiles?a calm amidst the poke
Of orders screamed and fryers boiling,
Still proud, still bright, still ever toiling.
So here?s to Jay, the peri prince,
Whose flame-born plates make angels wince.
If ever joy on Earth has shown?
It?s in that booth, that sauce, that tone.
A Nando?s? Yes. But not the same.
This one?s been blessed by Jay?s good name.

I?ve eaten at Nando?s Sittingbourne about 20 times and I?ll give you my reasons for my review.
1) very quiet evening, staff seemed uninterested in engaging with myself and family while taking order. Spent £100 for 2 adults and 3 kids
2) food came fairly quickly, portions seemed smaller than usual, had to order another bigger for kids to share the chips and chicken breasts. Usually leave food behind, this time everything was gone.
3) you had about 6 floor staff on including manager (assuming he was the person with the dark blue/denim shirt on) had to go and ask for mayo, not one person attended our table to ask how the food was and if we needed anything. Manager (assumed) was having dinner/food with another female member of staff and having a great time/chat. He even layed down in the booth for about 5 mins. It seemed most staff were keen to see how he and the other member of staff were, we were totally ignored.
4) leaving around 9:15pm (only us and 1 table of 2 left in the whole restaurant, not one member of staff said thank you or good night.
Another annoying issue was the ice cream machine was not working, kids like ice cream and a suggestion would be to keep a couple of tubs of ice cream in your deep freeze incase something like this happens. When you?re offering a kids meal with ice cream and then take it away and cannot offer them an alternative, it?s not good.
I hope you can learn from this review.
I too own/run my own business and have previously owned and run my own restaurant/pub. I would be horrified by the service if this was my establishment.

It's the floor mat at the entrance to the store. It's rank. Dirty filthy. At quiet times...ffs, run a broom over it.

If I could give 0 I would! Ordered a delivery when it came Mac and cheese for my daughter was missing! Called Nando?s spoke to a lady who had an attitude after explaining she said she will confirm with manager then came back saying nothing they can do m, I need to ring deliveroo and get refund when I asked to speak to manager she said I am the manger when I asked for her name she said here speak to the other manager Beks
Well Becks had even a bitter attitude! I spend my money with your restaurant I expect a good service not a bad attitude!!!
they blamed the delivery guy but when he delivered my order the bags were sealed and he had nothing left in the bag so Nando?s missed it instead of apologising and offering a solution they said nothing they can do I have to ring deliveroo which never answer they?re phone!
Very disappointed they need better management and good attitude! What hapen to being nice, no need to be rude to a customer when all they?re asking is for the food. I won?t be ordering from them ever again.

First time going to this nandos and wanted to say how nice staff were & welcoming also was really clean. I requested for the chicken to be cooked a little more and manager was really friendly and changed it over for me

Up to about 2 months ago, I had never been to Nandos. I'm an OAP . I love the food and it's great value . I've been 4 times already. Making up for lost time. I was asked where I wanted to go for my upcoming birthday. I said I want to go Nandos to the complete surprise of my family

Nandos is suppose to be southern African/ Mozambique FLAVOURSOME chicken nicely grilled chicken with flavour inside. BOILING CHICKEN then pouring sauce from a jar on it is not grilling chicken. YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE the whiteness in this chicken. Grilling is a skill not for you to come to work and move like you beeing forced to make the chicken. FIX UP NANDOS messed up my dinner KMT

You have to have food to have alcohol what?s fair enough but the food seems to have no potential the chicken is really dry barely any source not much flavour as spice takes over the taste palette

They were very helpful and even replaced the drink we accidently poured. Nandos food is always good in my humble opinion. It gets the job done and I never feel dissatisfied in terms of value for money

Today we was let down by another venue to accommodate 9 mums, 9 babies, 1 toddler. 9 prams! We arrived here and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Helping us get our refillable drinks. Sitting us all and our babies and some prams/highchairs. Making sure we was ok and had everything we needed. I'm sorry we didn't get any of your names. But thank you to everyone at Nandos in Sittingbourne ??
