Installed today?doesn?t work?.the dash cam should flash red when driving and blue whilst parked?at the moment trying to find a company that can install the dash cam correctly?will take it back next week to see if they can get it to work ?.

Halfords have falsely advertised 15% off on their car seats. I have tried to order a car seat twice on their website. The money was taken from my gift card but then I got an email saying that I had forgotten something in my basket. So the order hadn't been placed although money taken. I called their complaints line and the money was refunded. I asked how I can order the seat and still get 15% off as I can't seem to do it online. If it wasn't for the discount I would have gone to a different retailer. I was advised to go in-store as there seemed to be an issue online. After being to two stores where it wasn't in stock I found it at a third. I was then asked for my car details which was input into a form which I was asked to sign. I asked what am I signing and the sales assistant pointed to the line to sign. I said again what am I agreeing to by singing this. At which point she needed to call someone else over to fine out. Turned out I was signing to say I didn't need them to give a free demo on how to fit it. I wasn't asked if I needed this which they advertise as a free service. I then asked for the 15% discount to be applied at which point I was told that they couldn't do that and it was only online. I explained that the online system would not allow me to order, and was told to call complaints. But the store colleagues could not help. Having purchased a Halfords gift card I was stuck with buying from them so I purchased the carseat intending to call complaints. I later called complaints and was told I shouldn't have purchased in store as now they couldn't do anything. If I hadn't purchased in-store they would have manually applied the discount and ordered it for me. This is not what I was told on my first call or in-store. Add to this in the first store I attended they tried to sell me a display carseat at the full price as they didn't have any in the warehouse. So in summary be wary of getting Halfords gift cards and having to purchase from them, be wary of ordering online and of their retail staff. Although the motoring side is great

Ordered item in store, told would get a call when it's delivered to store. Had a email to say I had ordered item, but didn't get a phone call saying it's in store. Tried chat with an expert, no one available.Tried track order and it said it was in store. Tried to reply to email which confirmed order ,but it was not delivered.Not good

I purchased SPD clips. Myself and my husband approached the 2 guys at the counter. One was on a computer the other just standing behind the counter. Husband asked where there would be located. Total silence, not even a acknowledgement that we existed! Took them to the counter to pay and again we were totally ignored. Waiting a while, absolutely nothing!!! Took them downstairs and a lovely young girl took payment and was very pleasant. I recommend she teach the 2 upstairs some customer service skills. !! So not impressed with Sittingbourne Cycle department.

Had a car stereo fitted and it's caused nothing but issues with battery dying. Been nothing but fobbed off by all customer service departments, was told stereo was possibly faulty. Took it in to be tested to just be told 'well it had been fitted properly' but still no resolution. Was sent to the autocentre to be told they don't even look at stereos. But battery fine.
And now I have had to take the fuse out of the stereo so I can have a reliable car again, but stuck with no stereo as they have no intention of fixing the issue. I will never again buy anything from here and especially not let them fit anything as I can look on YouTube and see how myself.

It's rude, you pay £290 for a bicycle and then you still have to pay for it to be built ontop the lady working there just couldn't be asked to help, what's shocking is no customer service. I'm from a 3rd world country where customer service is everything, here it just doesn't exist

Advertised online for a specific oil, that they said was in my local store, but when got got there, they said they didn't have it and its not being replaced. and don't rely on website stocks ?

Dreadful experience. The young man who changed
My battery didn?t look like he knew what he was doing and broke a bracket on top of the battery. One of his colleague tried to persuade me that if it?s made of plastics it can?t be that important oversize it would be made of metal. Love this theory, so 80s. I ended up having to talk to the manager explains that I wasn?t happy to have paid £30 for the battery install when now the bracket is broken and I will have to return and have it replaced in my own time. The way I was treated today is so Unacceptable. They made me feel like I was a difficult customer. All I wanted was my battery to be replaced and nothing to be broken on my car. On top of everything my start and stop don?t work anymore and no does my adaptive cruise control. I am dreading telling them
about it.

Not 5 stars as can be a tad pricey, as Amazon/Ebay are much cheaper.
