Pearl is an absolute gem of a hairdresser and has made my blonde dreams come true! You have to trust the process when going from box dye brown to a natural creamy blonde, and Pearl is so trustworthy and gives you results! Not only is she accommodating and easy to talk to, she's incredibly talented at what she does! The salon is gorgeous, clean and very comfortable. Everyone who works there are so nice, approachable and amazing at what they do. I also always look forward to my cappuccino with hazelnut syrup whilst I wait for my hair to process. I couldn't recommend a better salon than this one! If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! <3

I won't return
Been a customer for years when budget allows. Asked for thick halo of blonde with dark on top and butterfly cut. Hair has always lifted to white blonde with no issues.
This was a 7 hour misery which resulted in disappointed tears having saved for 8 months to afford the appointment. I'm disabled and on low income so this was a big deal for me. I knew I might not get white blonde but I did expect a tone of blonde not damn brown.
Bleach was everywhere, I had to use the gown as it was dripping on both eyebrows and stinging my eyes. Everyone had disappeared and I had no towels or tissues I could grab.
The lift was dire.....a urine yellow with a massive brown band which she thought was fantastic. I can do better myself but went to so called professionals for safety. Banding meant the bleach was the wrong strength. The fact it was runny enough to run into my eyes also shows this. A first year stylist yet not once did she measure anything frighteningly
She then tried to persuade me to go red or purple rather than attempt a second bleach or to go as blonde as possible. She then covered most of the halo with dark brown which completely defeated the purpose and was the opposite of what I asked for. Worrying she seemed extremely pleased with her efforts despite me saying that she had not done as I asked, where was the halo and obviously being near to tears. She said oh we can do it thicker next time!
No I asked for and paid for it this time !!!!!and have a wedding tomorrow I now feel ugly to attend with hair like this.
I asked for butterfly cut which I had repeatedly and has lots layers. She told me she had done this but didn't cut any layers( she literally trimmed if anything the last mm and didn't do anything in the body of my hair, which if layers were cut would have happened. She supposedly cut 2 inches off but I can barely see a cut hair in my head the photos she took show all the ratty old ends, a photo is all I got as she never bothered showing me the back at the end and if she cut 2 inches off how come it's still the same length it was? Exactly to my armpit. CLEARLY after 7 hours she had checked out and lost interest and it was very obvious.
The stylist also brushed my hair, gave same brush to stylist next to her who then proceeded to brush her clients hair with the same brush with no cleaning. My gown was covered in white flakes of hair products and bleach meaning the brushes used weren't cleaned. The trolley wheels were so dirty with hair you couldn't see them. The assistant washed bowls for 2 seconds in the hair sink and put them wet in the cupboard for reuse. Bacteria heaven and mice like nests of hair
I don't want someone else skin cells or lice eggs in my hair not to mention the fungal and bacterial infections which can be spread through poor hygiene and freshly bleached scalps which are guaranteed to have small open areas for the bacteria to get in. Absolutely disgusting

I was charged £138 for a 7 hour nightmare where I had to ask for a drink, was made to wait 1.5 hours before I could pee because she couldn't stop for 2 minutes, didn't get what I asked for, had zero conversation, no magazine, and then was charged for a cut I never received. And I saved 8 months for that experience. I was so upset tired and in pain I just paid and left even paying a tip because I feel bad if I don't after 7 hours, came home and cried and now have to go to a wedding feeling crap. I just wanted to get out of there, 7 hours is ridiculous for a halo.
It was clear the boss wasn't in and it was run by a bunch of immature women swearing, and acting like they didn't want to be there. The atmosphere and language was terrible. I had 2 drinks in 7 hours, one I had to request after getting so thirsty I felt sick, and I sat staring at myself for 7 hours not even offered a magazine. This was supposed to be my treat, my one luxury after months of poverty having

I left honest review on Google . I have blistered face from bleach being slopped over me. I'm lucky I noticed and got it away from my eyes with the gown. stylist did not do as I asked and denied I asked for the butterfly cut 3 times despite me making it very clear it's what I wanted. It just proves she was not listening. The owner replied saying I was venomous and was moved to the back of the salon because my conversation was personal. If a stylist I have had for years asked me about what happened about something I will answer. Who the hell is this woman to decide a conversation about something not involving sex or adult material swearing or offensive language is not to be discussed! I can't help my life! Also if she felt this was the case why did she not phone me after the so called offending conversation and discuss in an adult professional manner? She then branded me a liar and didn't even bother to call me to discuss before writing this. There was absolutely no attempt to rectify the situation and just believed the pack of lies she was told. The cleanliness was disgusting which she denied but she came to the salon and told her stylist it was a shit hole which they sat moaning ng about! To call any customer a venomous liar and to banish a physically disabled client to the back of a salon up stairs while on crutches struggling to walk and only offer one drink in 7 hours is apparently acceptable practice. She says she welcome feedback well clearly not. Or only positive because there was no problem when I left a positive review last time. I saved months for this appointment, came out extremely disappointed, blistered and feeling unready for the wedding I was having my hair done for, have left an honest review and get treated like this. It's one thing supporting your staff but to call clients names publicly and publicly comment on why they were shoved in a corner and ignored ( my conversation was not inappropriate in any way as I'm careful what I say in public about certain subjects and unless I was swearing vulgar or loudly discussing sexual or adults content, who the hell is she to declare my conversation with a 7 year long at least hair stylist enquiring about something she's always asked me about is offensive or making people uncomfortable. Don't bloody listen then I can't help life. Disgraceful A conversation was all that was needed. But obviously that's too adult and professional for this owner Unfortunately I did go to blonde to support a local business woman but she has shown exactly what is wrong with all female hair salons. She chose to bitch and be spiteful personal and unnecessary when my review was factual not personal. I apparently am not welcome at the salon. So there was no concerns over my blistered face, it was immediately assumed I was lying and no attempt to contact me to discuss before this personal attack was put online. What upsets me the most is the inference I had to be caged in a corner because of my conversation. Sadly I lived this situation and if other people find it upsetting instead of deciding it made others uncomfortable perhaps they should actually not have been listening or should stick to conversation about the weather and not ask me about it. Or had sympathy for the fact someone had to face the situation. Sadly the owner has forgotten you lead from the top and those under you will copy your behaviour so clearly the poor listening skills, poor hygiene ( shared hairbrushes which left flakes of bleach hair products and yuk skin cells all over the gown as I don't have dandruff or hair products in my hair nor do I want lice eggs or others skin cells and fungus in my hair) and appalling attitude to customers come from her. I would and have supported her local business for years but seeing as I am not welcome..... like I would ever go back to that attitude and a hair cut paid for that didn't happen despite 3 times discussing I wanted the butterfly cut Simple facts were there had been gossip about me which is unprofessional in the fir

First time customer and can happily say my experience here was really good. Staff are all very friendly and professional. Zoe did my Kerasilk treatment and my hair looked and felt amazing! To add, I had a lovely head massage! Thank you so much.

Poppy has done my hair twice now and nailed it every time, she listened to what I want gives her recommendation then nails it every time. She even re toned me free of charge as it came out slightly yellow ish and made sure I left with it looking perfect! Would recommend 100%

I had my hair done on Saturday by Pearl. I previously spent almost twice the price on a Balayage, cut and finish at Toni & Guy (which was awful) so I was a bit worried that the same thing might happen again. Thankfully it didn't! And Pearl was super fab, friendly and made me feel at ease. Pearl is clearly very skilled at her job, thank you for making me feel special on my birthday weekend! First time I have ever been to this salon or a salon ever and from the minute I walked in the staff were lovely. Offered a tea as soon as I got there.
