A few months ago, I went shopping at Nisa Local with my wife and our two children. As I have shopped there many times before, I went straight to the mayonnaise and ketchup aisle, with my wife and children following me. However, from the very moment we entered the store, one of the employees ? an older gentleman ? left his counter and began to follow us. This continued throughout our shopping, and when we went to pay, he walked behind us and took the payment himself.
This behavior made both me and my family feel extremely uncomfortable. Other than the fact that my wife is English and wears a headscarf, and that I am not English, I cannot find a reasonable explanation for why we were treated this way. As customers, we felt watched, even judged ? which completely ruins the sense of trust and comfort that a store should provide.
In a business that is supposed to offer a welcoming and safe environment, such an attitude is simply unacceptable. People, especially families, should be able to shop without feeling suspected or discriminated against. I sincerely hope this was not a common practice towards others, but unfortunately, because of this unpleasant experience, we have decided to do our shopping at other local stores instead.

I have an unpleasant experience with a very rude and arrogant lady at this Nisa/Post Office store. Poor family run business seems not improvement is expected. Shame on you

My local Post Office is located within this store, so this is usually my reason for using the store.Therefore it meets my needs, there are enough staff to keep both queues (shopping & posting) flowing smoothly.Nice though that you can do some small bits of shopping if needed & usually a few items on special offer, so worth a browse.

Always clean & tidy. Staff very friendly go above & beyond to help. Went to use the post office & to pick up a couple of bits. Had a cheeky ice cream on the way out!! By far the best gelato about!
