Allowed me to book a MOT on Sunday. Then they cancelled on the Sunday morning blaming it on the online system. was worse is i keep getting kwik fit adverts on my phone reminding me how bad they are.

Took my car to them as the tyre pressure was leaking out slowly (10psi over a number of days). Kwikfit looked at the tyre and said nothing wrong with it. Took it to another tyre mechanic (Dryhill) who found a nail imbedded in the tyre almost immediately. Bright, shiny, silver nail head, about 1 cm diameter - very visible. It makes you wonder about Kwikfit?s competence, or whether they are only interested in fitting (more profitable) new tyres. I also had a previous episode with them where they deduced an exhaust was blowing when, in fact, a wheel bearing had gone. Hence, 1 star.

Booked in for a free wheel alignment check. Wasn't told it would cost £75 to adust and the work was carried out without seeking consent. Pricing is not transparent.

Absolutely amazing service from Alfie and Dave. I was in a rush late for an appointment when my vehicles under tray collapsed, I called and was told to pop in. They took it off and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. Their kindness, efficiency and genuine care was truly unmatched. Although this isn?t my local kwikfit store, I?ll be sure to use my local one next. Thank you!

car was in the air for approx 90 mins and in the end I was told that the car had the wrong bolts for adjustment of rear toe (absolute nonsense) and that they left the rear toe at 1 degree on both sides (it should be straight)
I needed the car immediately so accepted this and left with it as is

This has to be one of the worst service experiences I have had for a few years. I decided on them because they were local and I thought it would be easy - they weren't the cheapest.
My first visit I sat for 25 minutes waiting for an air conditioning recharge before they decided to tell me the machine was actually being serviced and they weren't 100% sure how much longer it would be. I only established this when I flagged the fact that I was told it would take an hour and 25 minutes later the car hadn't moved from the car park! They just forgot to mention the service they took the key and told me an hour!
I rebooked for the following week. Turned up, they took my key and then came back to tell me that the machine wasn't actually working and needed a service again. Unfortunately they didn't think to call clients who were booked for a visit and save them the hassle of turning up for a service they couldn't complete!
What a poor way to treat customers. It's been a few years since I went to a Kwik Fit and all being well I'll never go to one again.
