AVOID - Male owner was verbally rude and disrespectful. He clearly shouldn?t be in public view or dealing with the public. Wouldn?t ever return. Even bar staff (lady) looked so miserable and couldn?t even look at us. Has such good potential if you get rid of male owner and lady bar staff. Disappointed. Especially as we had just come from my nans funeral.

Nice beer nice locals nice owners and nice food nicely done out well worth a visit, parking also available. Returned after 6 years food excellent but a bit slow for food but very good burger

So disappointed heard very good things about the sunday roast but it was awful. Frozen food served luke warm, veg was watery mush. Roast potatoes were frozen whole potatoes still hard. The gravy was like water. The meat was so dry and over cooked. Would not recommend

Missed the bus home by a couple of minutes so I thought I would pop in for a quick pint and sit in their garden. All very good, a very decent pint was served and the service was quick, friendly and welcoming.

Tried every pub in Sandwich when we moved here but this is the winner by a countryside mile. Just has something the others don?t for us? Looking forward to more visits over the summer.

Gotta say thought it would be a pain cooking our tea on hot stones, but boy was i surprised. The meal was fantastic 4 of us had steak a 2 had salmon. All our meals were succulent and extremely tasty.
Will certainly go there again well done Nina and Baz well worth a visit.
