Unmistakeable eyesore in Sandwich's historic Guildhall Square. Delight in the display of headless mannequins hanging like a mawkish tribute to convicted pirates of yore from gibbets by the entrance. Peruse the mountains of tat strewn about in front of the shop. Marvel at the fact that this monstrous pile of rubbish is permitted to exist by the town council in one of the most historic locations in the picturesque conservation area of central Sandwich. Attempt to fathom why Age Concern is not content with owning multiple outlets throughout the town and feels the need to spread its wares like a tribute to the world's fly tippers all over the town square. Grotesque.

Very pleasant atmosphere. The space is fresh, clean and very bright. The café au lait was delicious, as well as the scone. Staff warm and friendly gave us a lot of useful information and we're very welcoming. We read carefully the weekly menus and the look delicious. Will be back surely!

Charity shop is overpriced and management is disappointing. Floor staff/volunteers are mostly friendly and welcoming.

This is run by friendly and helpful volunteers
They run group meetings and activities during the week.
Advisable to look at their website or walk in for further information.
There is also a small cafe to stop and have small bit and refreshments.
