when I asked the school to help me they referred me to medway food bank. I never in a million years thought they could help me. firstly I work part time and secondly I'm not renting my home. medway food bank called me asked a couple questions and I thought here we go no chance. but the lady on the phone was so wonderful and caring . totally understood my situation and the first time I didnt feel like a failure for not having money to feed me or kids. that day I spoke to the lady changed my views on myself. I cant thank them enough for the goods they gave us as a family.

Medway food bank has been a life line for us since long term sick has left me unable to work
The service is easy to access and everyone involved is courteous and understanding in what was an embarrassing situation for us
