Very nice OXFAM, tidy, well maintained, with very pleasant and very helpful staff. I bought some pretty stamps there for a very reasonable price. I recommend

Beautiful little Oxfam in the heart of Rochester. Bought Michael Clayton on DVD for 99p. Helpful staff. Warmer than the castle and free to enter. A must if in town.

Over-priced as always for Oxfam. CDs at £2 or more. Records often silly prices and poor condition for amount asked. Check Internet/discogs before buying.

Great place with good-quality stock - a fun browse when I'm passing through Rochester. I noticed some of the harsh comments on here about the staff. Please note that if some of the volunteers have learning disabilities they will miss certain social behaviour cues ??. It's not rudeness!

Lots of lovely books and weird and wonderful curiosities.

I today attended the Oxfam Shop on Rochester High Stress. Currently down in Kent visiting family members. I was really disappointed with the response from the male staff member. Having browsed around the large store, I acquired and purchased several books. On making my payment, I then made an additional donation. I was really taken aback when I received no real acknowledgment; not even a thank you. Actually, I thought the staff member was rude and miserable. I will NOT be returning to this store and will be contacting Oxfam directly to discuss. Disappointed.

Went to Rochester yesterday for a lovely day out on my birthday with my husband, popped into this shop (as I have done many times in the past) & there was a door open at the back, didn't go in but admired a piece of furniture from where we were standing, a tall miserable looking man saw us & slammed the door in our face, what wonderful attitude to display in a charity shop no less. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Won't be back.

Great music selection, and a very broad selection overall. However, 2 out of every 3 times I visit, the staff seems to have the people skills of a hornet

Seemed very sparse today. Didn't take long to have a look.
