I am the treasurer of a small, not for profit charity in my village. I am part of a committee organising events throughout the year for everyone in the village. I enrolled online, the following day went to finish application but forgot to take further items with me. Later in the afternoon, I spoke to a very nice gentleman from their Milton Keynes office who assured me that a copy of the bank account together with personal id would be fine. Today, taking the latest bank statement and both my driving licence and passport, I was advised this was not acceptable. I was asked if I had an insurance policy on my phone? Why is an insurance policy on my personal phone acceptable but not my driving licence and/or passport? So have now printed off my household policy front page. This has the LV symbol at the top of the page, it appears that is all they want.

Not worth it anymore. Asda and Tesco are just cheaper at most things (drinks, alcohol etc).Worst thing about this specific store is their stock management is appalling! Always just sold out of the stuff people want and way too much of the stuff no one cares about.

So didnt start off a good experience, came to register here in June. After waiting 20 odd mins a manager came down. Looked through my company details and basically said what IT got to do with food, which is a fair point however I Then had to explain in detail what my business was which was not really acceptable. He seem to have a real attitude on him. I explained I was a member of Makro and had no issues then explained this was a separate company which i thought makro and booker were as one now. Anyway left then found out that Booker sell Electrical items too in some of their stores including this one so I feel he was in the wrong. I went to the Tunbridge Wells branch with my paper work arm ready to explain about the electrical items only to be told no issues here my card and I was in the store shopping away no issues. Great selection of items if you need stuff in bulk for both business and personal. I have since been back to the Medway Branch with my card and discovered that they do infact have electrical range as well as food etc. Raised a complaint which the Medway manager never got back to me but instead the Tunbridge wells manager did. Explained the situation and he was confused as I was. Since I had produced my limited company details there should been no rejection in the matter. I think it was down to the manager of this store which is quite poor. I was hoping to bump into him again but not seen him.I am glad that not all booker stores are like this and have quire happily shopped a few times here, great alternative to Costco which is always too far for me. I produce small hampers for my cilents and this was an excellent alternative. For this I have given them 3 Stars. If this happens to anyone please do not let it put you off registering. Recommend trying another branch. You should not be expected to explain your business in such detail.

Wholesale cash & carry. Have to apply for membership, certain criteria apply.Excellent for bulk buying, but do your research, not always the cheapest way to shop, good savings on their own brand items.Shop with a scanner gun. Purchases checked against receipt upon leaving. Ample parking.

A brilliant place for retailers to do their wholesale shopping. Staff are super helpful and prices aren't too bad either. Ample parking. MEMBERSHIP IS MANDATORY to shop here.

It's a good place to shop with plenty of selection but you have to be careful as it's not always cheaper than usual shops. It's quite easy to get carried away!
