We went there on Saturday 5th April for my husbands birthday, we were greeted by a lovely lady and shown to our table. Our drinks came promptly and food order taken.
After waiting for forty five or more minutes our food still hadn't been arrived, I spoke to another waitress who apologized and told us it the next order to be plated up.
Our food arrived the chips were cold as well as the Gammon, pea's and grilled tomato. My husbands chicken was cremated it was awful. The staff were really lovely and kept saying how sorry they were, we felt for them as we heard three other tables complaining.
Needless to say we won't be going there again.

I have been for breakfast a few times recently as an alternative to Toby Carvery. While a bit more expensive, the inclusion of drunks into the price makes for a fair price. As like the Toby, the food varies per visit. My most recent vists, the hash friend weren't cooked very well for example.
The continental breakfast has a good range of food to choose from, and the pub is very clean and offers a warm environment to dine in.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible for wheelchairs and push chairs.

Visited on Mother?s Day and even though it was busy 4 more family members were squeezed in for an original party of 2. Kerri and Molly were very good and so friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful evening Kerri and Molly. Shall be back again soon.

Great place for the breakfast- best all you can eat around Staff amazing especially Mim. Nothing is too much trouble. Always happy to help. Even in very busy times.

Sat in here now may as well be invisible lack of customer service is embarrassing waited 15 minutes at the front door only to be served poor cold food nobody to complain to as they don?t seem to care!

It's a table table so perhaps unlikely that Jamie Oliver is out the back putting some more bacon on ( not a euphemism) . An eat as much as can , sorry want, breakfast with each constituent tasting exactly the same , how I imagine beige tastes.

Awful service won't be going again. Took 15 minutes to get a jug of water and had to walk up to the bar to request it, bearing in mind, the 'restaurant' was nearly empty. When we got our water, there was a lipstick stain on the glass, so we had to wait another 5 minutes to get a new glass.
Food then took 40 minutes to come out and was just above warm but somehow still burnt.
We also got over charged as the staff member put our order in the wrong. Overall the staff member cared more about drinking her Lucozade than serving food.

The restaurant wasn?t busy but waited quite a long time for food. When it arrived chips were lukewarm. I had gammon peas actually cold everyone?s food except curry was lukewarm. We complained about chips as they were first thing we tried they brought out more chips about 10 mins later. Gammon shrivelled up steak very well done and the other steak request medium rare was very rare. The overall quality of food very poor. Will not be returning! Would not recommend
