My ford fiesta had an issue with its horn. I usually like making my own repairs but I was busy at the time with work and other things so I decided to put it into a garage. In total I got quoted about £650 for an MOT, Squib and pre-cat oxygen sensor. Nothing to do with the horn, so I have no idea why they told me the squib needed replacing. I had some time today so decided to have a look at the horn myself and found out that it was just a bad ground and the horn worked perfectly fine.As I was working I asked if my Nan could take the car in. I told her what to tell them and about the issues in the car and they still invoiced me £90 for the labour of inspecting the car for issues I already told them about rather than just fixing what I told them was wrong. My only assumption is that they believed it belonged to her and thought that she wouldn't know what was wrong and would just pay up. It's a good thing she rung me before going through with it though as I asked her to because otherwise she would've handed over more than £600 to a shady mechanic that would've then subsequently come out of my pocket. I had the horn fixed today in 15 minutes and it cost me £15. Squib is perfectly fine but they tried charging £150 for the part and of course another £90 on top for the labour of replacing it. Also tried to charge me another £90 for the oxygen sensor which I have already found a replacement for and it's £30.I will never be going to this garage again and I don't recommend anyone else to either.

Highly trusted and professional service.I had an Ad-Blue leak on my Jaguar XF. If I?d taken it to the dealer they?d have probably charged me a fortune.East Cliff did the job for a great price and really quickly. I always love coming to them.

Had an MOT done,it did fail the first time, as soon as they noticed it had a problem they were straight on the phone to me and after getting the part fix, they passed it. Very very happy with the service and they are very friendly people. Definitely will be back when the car needs fixing
