I went to my grandson's wedding there. The setting gave a unique atmosphere to the event.
The building is constructed from timber salvaged from trees blown down in the 1987 storm at the site.
The food was excellent and so we're the staff despite being very much in the background.
It was a memorable event and shall cherish my memories of it.
The reason for reluctantly reducing the atmosphere to 4 stars is because the acoustic of the dining hall. It limited conversation at the dining table. Yes I know in getting old and hearing may be not quite what it was but younger attendees agreed with me.
If your visit was for a smaller number of people in less celebratory mood, I doubt whether this would be a problem.

Stopped by for brunch on a Saturday morning. There was lots of sporting activity happening which gave the place a lovely buzz. We had a coffee and a nourish me breakfast consisting of baked beans, sourdough bread, fried egg, baked mushroom and tomato. Both the food and drinks were fresh and delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. Dog friendly. Will be back.

The barn itself looks nice and set in a beautiful park. I had a lavender and vanilla biscuit, that was nice. The coffees that I ordered after a very long queue just never arrived! Got a refund in the end. The man said they were understaffed but there were 5 people behind the counter plus staff walking around the restaurant area. If I come back, think I?ll bring my own coffee in a flask!

Took 15 mins just to get a coffee even though no one at counter when ordered ..plenty of staff standing around.chatting...had to ask where coffee was..not alot of common sense wafting around

Beautiful setting - quiet views outside and spacious inside, both dog friendly. Food is tasty, menu limited. But the service - they couldn?t care less. Such a shame. The man that served me conversed with another customer for the entire transaction not thanking me or offering a receipt. We went to the counter several times and each time they were as uninterested.

Lovely cafe setting but very pricey for what it is. Limited choice and at £5 a fresh juice or hot chocolate, the bill goes up very quickly! The setting though is rustic with lovely views and amazing yoga classes which can be done on the roof top in good weather. We met up for a spot of lunch with some friends and wanted to try out the other walks advertised on the website apart from the well signposted orange walk which is quite short. None of the staff was able to tell us where the blue/red walks on the map were which was disappointing.

Lovely cafe perched up high and surrounded by natural beauty. The inside of the cafe is cosy, with wooden beams and trunks taking up the structure, and enough glass to let the light in.
The food was delicious, staff were quick to bring you the order. They offer a variety of different activities here (pre-book) such as yoga, park run and outdoor fitness classes. There is also a sauna hut too, will definitely be back to try more!

We walked to Kingdom for brunch/lunch on a beautiful sunny day. Sadly the wind was too cold to sit outside but luckily Kingdom allows you to sit inside with your dogs. It was pretty busy but we still managed to find a table.
Because this is basically a café you have to line up at the counter to order. Which is fine if a bit slow. There's some good stuff on the menu although it is pretty limited. I don't know why as you could easily have a few more main dishes.
Anyway our brunch choices were really very fresh and tasty when they arrived. The bread was good, the avocado perfectly ripe and the smoothies tasty. So a really nice lunch for all concerned. Definitely a nice place to visit.

It's pretty expensive.
The unusual decor and location make it pretty. The food is expensive but, judging by the large number of happy people, it's justified

Picturesque venue, beautiful, but poor value for money food, which was simply average (toasted sourdough was definitely stale), and very smelly toilets (plumber required urgently).

Expensive cakes. On asking for a latte we were asked regular or large. When we enquired how large , the waitress replied' larger' not very helpful, then she thought to show us the cups. Used to like coming here for the views from inside , now it's all dark and only the yoga get to see the view. Won't be returning.
