While the shop was lovely to look at, don't think we will go back again as we felt very uncomfortable and didn't enjoy the visit very much. Everywhere we went there was a member of the staff following us, like we couldn't be trusted, it took a lot for me not to say anything to the woman. We are nearly 60 years old, and from reading other reviews it seems we are not the only ones to feel this way. They have cameras everywhere, so why do they make people feel uneasy.

We arrived late afternoon and were welcomed by 4 staff. My partner is a wheelchair user and sadly as with many antique shops we visit she wasn't able to see much of the centre. So she relayed her interests to one of the staff who went on a hunt for her for items she might like.In the meantime I had a good root around and the centre is deceptively large. I believe there are 35 dealers and there is a wide variety of antiques and collectables over two floors. It's well worth a visit if you are in the area. The village car park is fairly close by though avoid school run times as when we arrived we had to wait a short while for a space to become free.

As visitors from North America we have traveled all over the UK. We have visited dozens of antique shops and this definitely remains one of our favorites.

Nice friendly old persons, in a village setting antique emporium.Set in a quirky 17th century building.Chocker full of lovely Bygones and antiques.Be careful walking around inside, sales items are precariously placed anywhere!Items can be offered on, prices sometimes negotiable.Surroundings in the village are also wonderfully interesting and 'ye olde'.Well worth a visit.
