It's takeaway only. Good quality is good but likely to take 10-20 minutes. You've got to wait for freshly cooked food!

Large cod and chips. The fish was over cooked and dry. Chips were very pale, could have been cooked for longer. Fish over cooked, chips under done. Not the best.

The person who served us greeted us with judgement and was not a welcoming person at all. The food was ok at best and one of the burgers that we ordered came undercooked!! How can you make us wait for twenty minutes and the burger STILL be undercooked, absolutely unacceptable. Not to mention that the first burger we ordered came out wrong and was not what we ordered. Will not be coming back ever again.

Excellent cod and chips. Chips are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - almost like eating a buttery jacket potato. Cod was lovely and a huge portion. Great value for money. Staff incredibly friendly. Not much more you could want!

Best take-away chips ever, by large haddock they mean LARGE. Just 2 mins from New Romney RD&H rail station and with council provided bench and litter bin opposite on green. What's not to like?

Not worth the money now!. This place seems to be under new management again. We got 4 regular cod and chips tonight and the fish was paper thin and small. Really disappointed considering the price point of £8 for regular and £10 for large cod. We'll stick to the Varne in future.
