Sunday (Mothers day) meal today spoilt by the lack of transparency regarding service charge. Nothing on the Menu stating about a 10% service charge but it was on the bill. When pointed out to the person taking payment she proceeded to indicate it was normal to add the service charge on Mothers day, and when asked why there was nothing on the Menu stating a charge would be made she told me I should of asked if there was a charge before we ordered. Not the sort of reply I was looking for. Needless to say without doubt I won't return.

Visited with friends for a Sunday roast and was not disappointed, absolutely beautiful food. We will be back and highly recommend.

Monday night 7pm turned away . With a I am not serving anymore from the barmaid . ? . Don't bother opening at all then ? Lock the doors. Don't turn me away at 7pm when you ha e guys drinking at the bar .

We had my husbands 65th party here, the staff, food and service was amazing, would definitely recommend.

The food was incredible. Chorizo Mac & cheese was the best Mac and cheese we've ever had. The nachos were a really good portion for the smaller option and the beef barbacoa topping (optional) was delicious and tender. And the BBQ smash burgers were amazing. The girl who served us at the bar was friendly and welcoming and sweet. Planning to come here again with friends soon.
Oh and the Timothy Taylor Boltmaker is a proper tasty Ale.

Welcoming and friendly pub. Serves up a wonderful Sunday dinner . As good as your mums if not better ( sorry mum) lovely staff nothing too much trouble . Good selection of beers and wine .

Popped in for a couple of pints and the service was mediocre. The lady behind the bar ignoring myself and the chap next to me to talk to some locals.

Good beers on tap served by a landlord that cares about the quality of his ales. A big garden with a covered section and a play area for the kids. Well worth a visit.
