This is a wonderful café, so good that it's always bustling. Book if you're going there.
While standard dishes are available, they're very inventive. For example, jammy eggs is my favourite brunch - no jam involved! Scrambled eggs, tomatoes on the vine, soda bread toast, mushrooms in a creamy sauce, local (large) sausage.
The coffee is good, too.
Decor is interesting.
Given how busy they are, it's no surprise that meals take a while to prepare, but it's worth the wait.

We went Saturday about 10.00 .We get last table .Lounge were full and noisy .We could not speek so it wasn't chill or relax time .
Food were exceptional. We waited long time for food .We managed to drink our drinks and the food did not come by then.

if you are a vegetarian do not come here. they cook the veggie sausages and hash browns in the same oil and do not cater otherwise.
after asking if they could just cook on a pan they mentioned they don?t have time.
they cater if you have gluten allergies but not if you?re vegetarian. i travelled all the way here and just left without eating.
they couldn?t even amend the meal i wanted. i had to buy an £14 meal for just eggs with two portions of beans and bread because that?s all they can offer. it?s ridiculous how you have 7 types of milks but you don?t have a separate section to cater for vegetarians.

Beautiful decor. Food was good.
Sadly everything was ruined by the blonde male waiter who was quite rude. It took a while to get our order yet as soon as we finished eating he left the bill on the table and walked off. No one asked him for it.
Later when we addressed him he mentioned there was 1h 15mins turnaround for tables - which no one mentioned when we sat down.
Anyways we proceeded to order our takeaway drinks and left after askimg him to reissue a new bill. A waste a paper if you ask me! ?

Went here for breakfast/brunch and oh my it didn?t disappoint. The food was the best I?ve ever had for the price it was aswell. It was just amazing and filling especially how appetising it looked too. Customer service was great too. Would highly recommend the Apple crumble French toast.

The best breakfast/brunch I've had in years! Very popular and rightly so, maybe not a hidden gem anymore, but stumbling across this place amongst roadside shops is what you least expect. We sat outside the front as had our 2 dogs with us, no issues at all with service because of this even though it was rammed inside. Wish I could remember the waitress' name as she made sure we were ok and took our order swiftly. We ordered a caramel latte, dirty vanilla chai latte, acai bowl, and full English breakfast. My husband loved his drink and food choice, and I absolutely loved mine. The dirty vanilla chai latte was the best I have ever tasted before, and the acai bowl was beautifully presented; every mouthful was like a party in my mouth with the flavours combined. Amazing work team at Cafe Lounge, keep up the good work, we will be back for sure in the future!

Long overdue writing this review, my family have been going to The Cafe Lounge for years (including two kids that are fussy eaters). Before our first visit we spent months searching for good cafes in Kent and London and had nearly given up, then thought why not try the one on our doorstep.
It?s hands down the best cafe we?ve ever been to. The consistency of the food is absolutely amazing and everyone we take wants to move to the area specifically for Cafe Lounge. From portion sizes to food presentation, 11 out of 10 every time.

My son invited me for a birthday breakfast at very short notice.
The food was amazing (as always), we both had the delicious Green brunch of smashed avocado on sourdough and I was surprised with a beautiful birthday treat, also delicious. Lovely early morning birthday surprise that I wasn't expecting.
