Would give it a 3.5. A lovely place with genuinely warm and welcoming staff. The atmosphere was great, and the tuna dish really stood out ? it was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the rest of the dishes didn?t quite live up to the same standard and felt a bit underwhelming overall. I?d definitely come back for a drink and maybe a small bite, but I?m not sure I?d choose it again for a full dinner, especially when there are other similar spots nearby offering better executed food.

Great first time visit at Pomus.
PreBooked Saturday lunch for our group.
We wanted something nice for a special event.
The restaurant is welcoming and colourful.
As we were a large group we got a private room below the main floor.
It was beautifully set and very cosy.
Music setting was great nice to enjoy but not too loud to prevent comfortable chat.
Drinks ordered were quickly served and were great.
The food is the real celebration. Every dish looked great and tasted even better.
Great selection of ingredients and taste combinations from starters to desserts.
The chicken popcorn, beef tartare, tuna..everything was just tasty.
The service was amazing. Attentive but not intrusive.
We will be back (we must return the umbrella offered for the pouring rain)

Came with a group of 9 and we were given the private table downstairs which was so lovely! Service was incredible, food was amazing and it ended up being so affordable for all of us. Thank you!

I booked a table at Pomus after hearing so many good things. A friend was coming into Margate, and I wanted them to experience great food and atmosphere. Pomus did not disappoint! George, our server, was friendly and well-informed, and his recommendations didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, and the wine list was impressive, particularly because they had some fabulous natural options. I need more friends to visit me so that I can return. It was a truly wonderful evening. Thanks, George and team!

Came for our anniversary and was delighted with the quality of food and service.
Small plates were superb especially the bass and tuna.

You have to try Pomus! Thanks to Ryan and his innovative chefs, Margate at last offers a truly amazing dining experience. From the moment you open the door you step into a really friendly atmosphere that offers a unique dining experience. The talented chefs create a regularly changing menu that features local produce along with foraged foods, skilfully prepared. Ryan?s knowledge of wines tantalise the taste buds along with the fact that he realises not everyone wants to drink alcohol so he has a range of non alcoholic beverages that certainly beat the boring old alcohol free cocktails based around fruit juices!
Small plates are on offer that mean you get to try so many different dishes in one sitting. Our only regret is we didn?t have room for a dessert!
Don?t walk past and think as I did - how can The Centre offer a fabulous dining opportunity - try for yourselves, I?m sure you won?t be disappointed. We can?t wait to go again!!
