In general I'm very impressed with Oakwood Homes and this feeling was entirely down to the members of the team I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Robert Lear in sales and Alexander Baxter in Lettings. Professional, friendly and on point with every aspect of the process. It was a no brainer to use Oakwood.

We were referred to this estate agents by a mutual friend. So, glad they did, the service we have experienced has been outstanding. We were given all the information we required and also given good advice. We would definitely pass on our recommendations to other people.

Don't bother wasting your time to request viewings on a property if you claim any kind of legacy benefits and don't have a guarantor. Was told because I'm in receipt of DLA (for my disabled child) I'd need a guarantor. This was before she even asked for my income, my savings (which I have plenty of) excellent credit, a good landlord reference etc. Just straight up said I wouldn't pass referencing. When I questioned whether they can do that (because it IS discrimination) she said "no because we can still offer you a viewing, you just wouldn't get the property". So it's okay to waste my time but it's not discrimination? ?She also told me that all local letting agents will have that same criteria as they use the same referencing company - not true and also, i have not needed a guarantor so far because I have a decent income, savings and clear credit.. Just another unethical and immoral letting agent that are part of the housing crisis problem.

They respond promptly to both tenants and my requests and seek to resolve issues rapidly and cost effectively to the benefit of the tenants and me.I have recently re-let a property process was fuss free and quick resulting in a minimum void period.
