DO NOT RENT from this company, they are only interested in your money .. any complaints are ignored, any repairs needed to rental property is never followed up on, and if you ever go into their office to follow up on complaint/repairs all they do is fob you off with promises (that are never kept), THEY ARE BY FAR THE WORST LETTING AGENCY in Thanet .. even if you are homeless I wouldn't go and rent from them.

I'm very surprised that this company has any good reviews at all. I've been living in Margate for around 10 years now, and I have heard so many stories about this company. None of them were good.Personally, I can say the same as Philip Rees. I had a 6 month stay with green knight lettings before they terminated my AST as I had brought the health and safety inspectors in. Guttering was broken for the entire time I was there, it took me 4 months to get a letter box.I had a broken oven from day one. It would fill the apartment with smoke very quickly. GKL claimed that it was because I needed to clean it, but it had been like it from day one. I ended up paying to have it cleaned, just to prove a point. It still filled the apartment with smoke, and they still didn't do anything about it.The supplied washing machine would leak water all over the floor if I used it. I asked for a replacement and they refused. I asked to buy my own and they said I would have to pay for a plumber to install it and that I wasn't allowed to do it myself.Antisocial behaviour was everywhere. Tenants would throw rubbish at my neighbours child while playing in the courtyard. There was often loud music into the small hours of the morning, nothing was ever done. Rubbish was thrown across the entrance to my apartment, meaning I had to climb over piles of rubbish to get to my front door. I've attached some of the photos.The front door to the place was usually left open, so kids would come in and pull the fire alarm. The "24/7 emergency number" I was left with never answered once during my entire tenancy. It always went straight to voicemail. We were often left with the fire alarm ringing for hours at a time. When I turned off my fire alarm after it had been ringing for over an hour, the landlord threatened to fine me for tampering with the fire alarm.In the end they decided to terminate my AST after I brought health and safety in, forcing them to resolve at least some of the issues in my place. Since then, I have been living in a different apartment for a number of years, with no issues. My landlord describes me as "One of her best tenants".I could write a small novel on the things these people have done to me, and the stuff I have heard from others, genuinely, seriously, if you can, avoid them at all costs.

An awful company to deal with. Rude, uncaring, totally disorganised and disreputable. Anytime a tenant needs assistance they go missing. If you complain they refuse to talk. I have 2 children who have not been able to sleep in their bedrooms for 6 weeks because of water damage. This could have been sorted in days. There is still water seeping through the floors and no end in site.

Ive been with GNL for over 2 years now and honestly have nothing wrong to say about them really friendly staff professional and helpfull if something is broken or breaks all i have to do is go to their office and tell them ... all is veing fixed Thank You Green Night Lettings.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - piss poor administration, takes months for maintenance to be done, waiting over a year for guttering to be fixed, when first moved in had to wait for months for working boiler and oven to the point i had to stay at my mates, trouble with drug dealers living in building including heroine dealers which i had to remove, anti social neighbours of which they refused to deal with, dropped in rent arrears because of their poor administration, ended up with illegal eviction and now the kicker they deputing giving me my deposit, do not rent from this firm unless you a REALLY desperate.
