A fantastic little pit stop in the heart of Maidstone along Fremlin Walk!
Whether you?re after a proper browse or just need a breather, Waterstones is perfect. Great coffee, comfy corners, and plenty of space to flick through a few pages. It doubles up beautifully as a mini library if you?ve got time to kill.
The café is surprisingly good too - ideal for a calm catch-up or a solo recharge. A real gem to mark on your map if you like good books and better coffee.

Perfect for any book lover to look around, order books from, visit for a cool or hot drink or just for some time out. They have a good selection of books and the staff are more than happy to help or offer support when possible, always smiling and friendly. I feel the prices are relevant and fair. Toilets upstairs in the cafe. Always kept clean and tidy, easy to find inside fremlin walk, parking nearby in town.

Love this book shop. These book shops are unfortunately few and far between nowadays. Shame. This one is large and nicely laid out. Tonnes of different books available for all ages and likes. Nice gifts available too. Even childrens toys. My Son always wants a small gift when we visit. We normally visit the large and lovely coffee shop. It's peaceful and plenty of seating. The staff are great. Plenty of selection with hot drinks, cakes and sandwiches.
Nice afternoon out. When your in Fremiln Walk.

Lovely, helpful and knowledgeable staff. The lady with the H necklace who knows about teen fiction went above and beyond today and persuaded a VERY nervous reader to try something new. We really appreciated the time she took to select some books and give us a synopsis of each. Thank you ?

Very nice cafe, quiet and comfortable. Coffee is very good but wish the cups were bigger to enjoy more of it delicious cakes and sandwiches

Bit of a quiet oasis in town centre. Love the calmness helpful staff and huge range of books I all genres. Coffee shop ok, but messy when we arrived, needed to clear a table but coffee good and fair selection of cakes on offer

I bought lots of lovely children's books for a little friend (7 years)
Only criticism I would make is how is an under 8 meant to see the books on 6ft high shelves.
