Came today for the first time, for an eye test. Lovely and friendly service, from the staff. The young ladies were really helpful. Had to choose glasses, as never needed to wear them before. Fran was very knowledgable and really helpful. Thank you so much ladies x x

Very caring staff are very friendly and helpful and did not take all morning just to have an eye test like some of them and I had my new glasses in less than a week

Booked in for 09:10 appointment for myself and my 10year old son just to find out it been cancelled with no phone call text or email. Then told to sit and wait and see if the next patient attended or not to fit one of us in. Won?t be going back

Absolute garbage. I?m only giving 1 star because I can?t give none.My daughter and I have been going here two or three years now and we spend at least three or four hundred quid every time. This year, ordered both our glasses, hers came back fine but I got a call after over a week saying mine had been broken in the lab and they were the last pair so I either had to wait nearly a month for them to come back into stock or go and pick another pair. Given that I work at a screen and every day I don?t have the right glasses I suffer with really bad headaches, waiting 3-4 weeks wasn?t really an option so I had to go into store and choose another pair. Only pair I liked nearly as much were a little more expensive (£56). I asked if any discount would be offered on this seeing as the only reason I was having to spend more was that they broke my other pair. I was told no way we won?t be doing that you will just have to bear the additional cost. When I asked why I was told it was because I didn?t need to buy new ones, I could just tolerate the pounding headaches at work all day every day for the next 3-4 weeks.I was unhappy but left it there and just paid the extra money and was told they should be quick coming back because the lenses had already been made they just needed putting in.Nearly a week later the tracker was still saying ?we?ll let you know when we start making your glasses?. It seems the order was put in as a fresh order and I was sent back to the back of the queue instead of being prioritised so people who ordered their glasses a week after me were having theirs returned while mine continued to wait and I continued to pop paracetamol and ibuprofen like they were going out of stock. I called to chase and was trying to explain to the lady on the phone why I was unhappy and she simply got impatient and said ?well if you just waited and gave me a chance to look I can tell you they?re on their way back, the tracker is obviously just not working. We?ll text you when they?re here? that was on Friday lunchtime. Sunday rolls round still nothing so I call to ask if any chance they?ll be in today because I work throughout their opening hours Monday to Friday so if I can?t get them today then I?ll have to wait ANOTHER week until next Saturday. She said no they?re still not here you?re going to have to wait for the text.About an hour later I got the text saying my glasses were ready for collection. Relieved at the prospect of not having to suffer at work tomorrow I jumped in the car and rushed down to the shop to grab them before they closed. When I arrived I was told no they?re not here. The woman I spoke to on the phone haughtily told me ?I already spoke to you earlier and told you they weren?t here and to wait for the text?. I showed her the text and told her yes I then got it about an hour later. My glasses weren?t there so I had to just leave without them yet again. All this and nothing has been offered by way of apology. No discount, voucher, nothing! All I was offered today was that they would send them to my home address at no extra charge and as I said to the lady, that is of no help to me because it will take even longer and it?ll be quicker for me to just rush in on my lunch break and get them when they eventually manage to get them there, if they ever do.Needless to say I will be going to Specsavers next week so congratulations Vision Express you have just cost yourself £400 a year of business to Specsavers for the sake of not wanting to give me a small compensatory apology this time.

?more like Vision Extremely Slow. I am a customer by default as my previous optician closed down and transferred business here. There is always a long wait although I always arrive for my appointment on time - today I waited 25 minutes and was completely ignored until I walked out. The staff seem to prefer to chat amongst themselves - customer service does not seem to be a priority.

This is the first time I have used Vision Express Maidstone.The staff were friendly, pleasant and engaging.I was really disappointed with the service I received when I had my yearly eye test in March.I felt under pressure to buy new glasses, by every member of staff I met during the eye test process.Their computer system was down so they were unable to access my detail and give me a prescription.I was assured my prescription would be sent as soon as their system was back up, unfortunately I had to call to prompt them to send the email.

I have never been somewhere, where all the staff members have been so lovely!Wayne went above and beyond in helping me with the lenses and what best suited me. I had no idea what I was doing or what I needed, but everyone was so kind and they helped me so much.Thank you for a lovely experience.I couldn?t recommend this store enough.

Friendly, polite, efficient Team, outstanding customer service. My eyes thoroughly tested, reading glasses prescribed - all in less than an hour.They have a great selection of frames and lenses and you needn't spend a fortune but if you so wish - you have this option, too :-)

Visited Vision Express on Monday for my daughters eye test - the Optometrist called Chinwe was very thorough which we really appreciated. Fran helped us chose the glasses and both her and Chinwe were very professional and helpful. Thank you!

Staff is nice to have a chat BUT during the eye test the optom didn?t answer my questions. After asking what is the reason I could have gotten a headache during the exam he said ?it?s something unique to you and I don?t really know?. I asked other questions that he didn?t really couldn?t explain.When it came to being shown the option for glasses it felt a bit pushy for a sale. I wasn?t given space to look on my own.During the quote stage another colleague kept interrupting and asked if the lady serving me could go speak to someone else. It got to the point the lady that was helping me has to tell her colleague to wait and she will see the other patient when she?s finished. This was not really nice especially since it wasn?t even busy.I?m not sure if I will come back.

My children visited Vision Express in Maidstone for a regular eye examination. Their optometrist Krishan Patel was very polite, friendly, professional and interacted with Scott and Anja wonderfully. Wayne helped my daughter Anja find a beautiful pair of glasses which suit her fantastically, Wayne was extremely patient, friendly, professional and helpful.

Staff were amazing. I have complex lenses and they have been so knowledgeable and had empathy for my needs. Can honestly say I don?t think I?ll be going to any other opticians.
