We have consistently received top-notch service, and I can?t thank Abbey Beckwith, the Assistant Manager, enough. Abbey has always gone above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed, always with a friendly and professional attitude. She, along with her wonderful colleagues at the branch, has made every visit a pleasure. No matter what we required, the team was always on hand to provide expert advice and ensure that everything exceeded our expectations. That?s branch is are useless on the delivery day are you gonna have a phone call from the manager and he gonna tell you he don?t have enough material half load useless driver put on a different land and when you come next time idiot, send me 10 messages and I lost one day off my work because I was waiting for delivery. That?s and useless driver. Deliver stuff without let me know he was on my property.

Last weekend, yet again, the boys at Travis Perkins in Parkwood were so very kind and helpful. I know my mum and I can be irritating with a very long list, frequent arguments over what to buy and general long-windedness but they are always so patient and gentle. Its so different from this big impersonal DIY stores where staff are either elusive or say things like 'If it's not on the shelf, we haven't got any'. They sell all sorts of bits and bobs in their shop, like some long bits of metal we needed (can't remember what they're called!) and even real air bricks. We've had a lot of fun and games trying to fit long pieces of wood in the car but the Travis Perkins always use so much energy and initiative to get us packed up safely. Even when they are busy, they always make time to help us properly. For a ten minute drive out of town, you can actually get the sort of old-fashioned customer service and individual attention that is really hard to find these days, especially for people like my mum and I who know next to nothing about wood! Highly recommended.
