A fab experience of upgrading a mobile phone at O2 Maidstone - Steve was absolutely great, very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Took time to explain and then went above and beyond with sorting new phone. Very grateful to him - thank you Steve!

Steve was extremely helpful during the process of upgrading my phone, he carefully went over my options with me and explained everything very well. I felt confident in my choice and am very happy with my new phone and updated contract! Steve is an absolute credit to the team and a true gent.

We went into the O2 shop this morning after a fraud was flagged up on our account. Steve assisted us and I can?t say how amazing he was. Not only did we talk and sort through this? he saved us an extra £30 a month on our plans !!! So talkative, knowledgable and welcoming, couldn?t have faulted his service one bit. Thank you so much Steve! ?

I have a negative experience concerning Maidstone O2 branch.
On the 4th October I came in to discuss the possible upgrade of my phone. I have existing SIM only contract with O2 at the moment. I want to have Samsung Galaxy
S23 phone with 256 GB storage. I was told that the company does not stock it now and I was suggested to have S24 version which I agreed.
The contract was created by member of staff constantly chewing gum while serving me. The phone was ordered to be delivered to Maidstone store.
That evening I found the phone I wanted and came next day to cancel the contract. At about 10 o'clock in the morning on 5th October there were 3 members of staff in the store and 1 customer. But after hearing about cancelling the contract they told me that noone can serve me and I should wait about 40 minutes to be served. I booked the appointment for 3 pm to solve the problem.
Coming at 3 PM I was told that it's impossible to cancel my contract now, I have to wait until my order will arrive and come again to sort it.
After my question why they didn't tell me that in the morning, the member of staff started to point on the notice about abuse! Politely asking a question doesn't constitute abuse. I feel aggrieved at being accused of being abusive. I expected an apology. But the situation was turned as if it's my fault.
I feel upset. I am retired person who wasted a day of my life and got negative aftertaste of unprofessional attitude.

I am incredibly grateful to the manager of the Maidstone O2 store and his colleague Ellie who were so patient and helpful when I had an ongoing problem with the replacement phone that I had been sent. I had to make 3 visits there to seek their help and in each case they were kind, efficient and knowledgeable. Without their practical support I would have been without a phone for 10 days, which is very challenging nowadays when so much of our lives is online. I cannot recommend the staff in this store highly enough.
