I was passing by looking for a card shop when a local directed me to this shop. I can?t thank enough the local who directed me to this fantastic shop.I thought I would miss the my friends Birthday, but this shop has everything, cards, post office, magazines, parking, helpful and friendly staff. Even for the picky chooser that I am, I was able to find my golden card.They call it the ?Newsrack?, but its a lot more and was a life saver for me. I left feeling happy. My thanks to the staff for your help. Hopefully, I'll see you again.

I recently visited the newsagent specialising in cards for all occasions, equipped with a post office and manned by a team of exceptionally friendly staff. The extensive card selection impressed me, catering to all personalities. The convenience of having a post office within the store was a significant plus, making it a one-stop-shop for my needs. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness added a personal touch to the experience, making it a delightful visit overall. Highly recommended for anyone seeking convenience and a warm atmosphere.

Visited this shop last Tuesday and it was brilliant. The staff have been there for over 30 years and you can tell ? they?re super friendly and know their stuff. The card selection is top-notch; loads of unique stuff you won?t find anywhere else. It?s got a real personal touch that beats online shopping any day. Highly recommend if you?re after cards & balloons.

Do not buy helium balloons from this shop, rude staff and way over priced.Morrisons is half the price better selection and friendly.

Went in and asked if we could pay to have some helium balloons blown up. The lady was really friendly and said not a problem. Told us to bring them in the day before and she'd look and tell us how much then we could pick up the following morning ready for a party. My partner went in about 15.00 on Friday 21st January and the lady on the counter was rude and said she wouldn't have time. My partner challenged her and said we'd already arranged it with the other lady and she said there was no way as there was. Only 1 member of staff on a weekend and she wouldn't have time. We're talking 5 balloons not 100s. So not only was this rude women going against what we'd previously been told, she also lost the newsrack money as we were paying customers and wanting to pay for this. We then went on to say we needed a 1 balloon and she was put out by this. She wanted us to take this home with us on that day but my partner said we wanted it for the morning. I can't believe what people consider acceptable customer service. Think you need new staff!!!

Very well stocked shop for cards , appalling staff , particularly the lady who does the early 6am starts , rude , abrupt, zero people skills , had 3 separate encounters with her and none of them a pleasure. .

The owner today was at the post section he had no people skills... no thank you no please... i have asked to pay my orders separately, which he didn't look very happy about it and at the end he just gave all the receipts on a pile... it just looked like a mess... i had to sorted myself... i have been going there for 10 years and this was appalling.... the good thing was his staff, they have better skills than him and they are charming.... but him, just rude... if you can't be bothered to WORK why are you there???

Post office shuts at 12 for lunch even though it is not stated anywhere. Lady was still there serving but wouldn't let me pay in money that would have taken a couple of minutes. Terrible customer service! Wasted my time travelling here to be turned away.
