I went into the branch with the intention of opening an account that could only be opened in-branch. My experience put me off. First visit: told there would be a 3 hour wait and advised to come back 1st thing ... I did and wish I hadn't. The person who sat down with me to open the account had no basic skills. Her language/communication skills were very poor. I had to clarify most questions as the tense was wrong and it was semantically gibberish. During the meeting, I decided that a bank that would employ such bad people (especially given the bank's troubles in this case) was not a wise choice notwithstanding FSCS protection. For the sake of a small decrease in rate I went with a bank that employs staff who can hold an intelligent conversation. The manager needs to learn his/her trade - this is a very poor show.

Been with these for a few years now after getting frustrated with the increasing lack of service in branch at barclays. I can bank 7 days a week, with my dog, and never have i been pressured to do online or mobile banking. A very modern looking, old fasioned bank.

The service in any metro bank is always good .The opening hours are excellent they really cater for people that work full time and allow us to be able to into the bank before or after work and weekend even a Sunday this is excellent why can't all banks offer this service. And if you loose Yr card or pin That's replace in the bank straight away another great service ? ?

Useless staff. No prompt response. Locker service is the worst. Every time we had to wait about 1 hour to use service even though no queue.

Probably one of the worst branches I have been into. Walked in no one greeted me. Several staff all doing nothing. Had to wait over 20min to be seen regarding my business account. Asked to see the bank manager was told they were not available.Incompetent staff with a attitude.

Absolutely disappointed with the services for last couple of times. Now this was the end of our relationship with the bank I will change it immediately. They requested some documents on a 1st day , then I bring it on the next day ,but the man behind the desk want some other documents want to come on the next day 3th one. Meanwhile my business account is locked and have few penalty's because of them. Nobody write a email of this block or text message or application announced, cant unblock without Passport , which was not requested 1st day of my visit. I really change you and cant waste my time with you anymore. Even after 10 apologies I can tell you YOU RUIN MY LIFE FOR LITTLE WHILE , but I will fix that
