Did two large tfrs on app but second one did not go through so I contacted them on the phone incase there was an issue . I was told no only one has gone through and I must have not confirmed it . .I therefore did again only to find out the next day it had gone through . So had sent it x3 luckily I managed to get my funds back . Extremely poor service by the person obviously couldn?t be bothered to check and I even hinted could it have been held up for checks . Would give no stars if I could

If you don't speak English well you can't open an account here and also if your parent is elderly you can't sit with them when they opened an account. I found this very stressful for an old person to open an account and also it looks like you have to have a very good English background to open an account here.

I came in to change my pin Monday afternoon and the lady at the counter told me that i can?t change it there and she will have to send a new one in the post which is very inconvenient for me. As I have changed my pin in this branch and others before. So if I want to take money out I will have to go to the bank every time until I get the new pin? What a joke. Metro used to be soo convenient

I went into the branch with the intention of opening an account that could only be opened in-branch. My experience put me off. First visit: told there would be a 3 hour wait and advised to come back 1st thing ... I did and wish I hadn't. The person who sat down with me to open the account had no basic skills. Her language/communication skills were very poor. I had to clarify most questions as the tense was wrong and it was semantically gibberish. During the meeting, I decided that a bank that would employ such bad people (especially given the bank's troubles in this case) was not a wise choice notwithstanding FSCS protection. For the sake of a small decrease in rate I went with a bank that employs staff who can hold an intelligent conversation. The manager needs to learn his/her trade - this is a very poor show.

Been with these for a few years now after getting frustrated with the increasing lack of service in branch at barclays. I can bank 7 days a week, with my dog, and never have i been pressured to do online or mobile banking. A very modern looking, old fasioned bank.

The service in any metro bank is always good .The opening hours are excellent they really cater for people that work full time and allow us to be able to into the bank before or after work and weekend even a Sunday this is excellent why can't all banks offer this service. And if you loose Yr card or pin That's replace in the bank straight away another great service ? ?

The team have been tremendous, in particular Billy. Having helped me set up my business account he also helped with some of the troubles I was facing. Greg has also been a great help!
